✨CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE — TRIAD BATTLE: PHASE ONE (1 of 3)
"Dominion Trinity: Phase One — Synchronization."✨
The moment the three Seraphs spoke, the air shifted—
like gravity suddenly remembered it could be worse.
Silver rings appeared beneath their feet, rotating in opposite directions.
Each ring radiated a different energy signature:
Left Seraph — Velocity Seal
Center Seraph — Calculation Seal
Right Seraph — Force Seal
Dara pointed dramatically.
"Aiden… why do they have accessories and we don't?!"
Aiden ignored him, cracking his neck as golden mist curled around his shoulders.
Maya stepped behind Aiden, palms glowing.
"Aiden… Phase One will be the hardest to learn."
Aiden didn't turn. "Tell me."
"They're not trying to kill you," Maya said.
"They're trying to analyze you."
Dara's face twisted in confusion.
"So they're doing homework… DURING the fight?!"
The center Seraph lifted their hand.
"Synchronization complete.
Begin Data Harvest."
Aiden's eyes sharpened.
"Not happening."
THE FIGHT BEGINS
The speed Seraph vanished.
Aiden barely had time to sense the shift—
A silver blur appeared above him—
WHIP—!
Aiden ducked, the blade slicing a clean arc where his head had been.
The power Seraph followed instantly—
jumping high and bringing down a hammering punch.
BOOOOOM—!!
Aiden blocked with both arms—
Concrete shattered.
The entire rooftop dented inward.
Dara clung to a vent pipe.
"BRO DON'T LET HIM BREAK THE WHOLE BUILDING—!"
Aiden slid back meters, boots grinding sparks.
He exhaled.
"Stronger than the last Seraph…"
The calculation Seraph stepped forward, palm glowing with tight silver lines.
"Observation: You brace before every counterattack."
Aiden's eyes widened.
The Seraph snapped their fingers—
The speed Seraph reappeared behind Aiden instantly—
SLASH—!
Aiden twisted—
barely blocking—but the blade sliced his arm, drawing a thin line of blood.
Dara screamed, "HEY—TIME OUT—THIS IS A CHILD—!"
The power Seraph smashed forward next—
Aiden caught their punch—
but was thrown backward—
He flipped midair and landed on his feet.
Maya gasped. "Aiden! They're building a pattern!"
The calculation Seraph nodded coldly.
"Pattern updated. Efficiency rising."
Aiden's fists tightened.
"You're not taking another step."
But the calculation Seraph simply raised a hand.
"Test the anomaly's response priority. Engage flank suppression."
The speed Seraph vanished again, dividing into afterimages.
The power Seraph charged with a shoulder slam.
The calculation Seraph formed a silver spear and threw it.
Three attacks.
Three angles.
Zero room to dodge.
Dara yelled, "BRO THEY'RE DOING A WHOLE GROUP PROJECT—"
AIDEN BREAKS THE FORMATION
Aiden's aura flared.
Bright.
Hot.
Focused.
"Not this time."
He punched the ground—
a golden shockwave exploded outward—
The afterimages were erased—
The incoming spear deflected—
The power Seraph staggered back—
All three Seraphs paused.
The calculation Seraph tilted their head.
"Unexpected externality.
Adaptation required."
Aiden stepped forward, eyes burning bright.
"My turn."
He vanished.
The speed Seraph moved—
but Aiden matched their speed, appearing beside them mid-dash—
CRACK—!!
His knee slammed into their chest, denting the armor.
The speed Seraph crashed across the rooftop.
Dara lifted his hands.
"YES! ONE DOWN—!"
Maya quickly shook her head.
"No. That only disrupted the formation."
The power Seraph grabbed Aiden's arm mid-charge and swung him—
throwing him into a concrete wall—
BOOOM—!!
Aiden hit hard—
but he burst from the dust instantly—
The calculation Seraph flicked a finger.
"Motion predicted."
A silver beam fired—
Aiden crossed his arms—
CLASH—!!
The beam pushed him backward, feet carving lines in the rooftop.
But Aiden smirked.
His aura intensified.
"You think you know me already?"
The calculation Seraph paused.
"Incorrect.
Pattern assimilation at 44%."
Aiden lowered his stance.
"Then I still have time."
THEY USE A TEAM ATTACK
All three Seraphs raised their hands simultaneously.
Their seals glowed—
Speed.
Force.
Calculation.
"Dominion Trinity: Convergence Shot."
The three energies combined into a single, swirling sphere—
Silver lightning wrapped around it—
A miniature star forming between their palms.
Maya stepped forward, eyes wide.
"Aiden! That's a compression blast! It'll erase the whole rooftop!"
Dara threw himself behind Aiden.
"IF WE DIE, I'M HAUNTING EVERYONE—"
Aiden didn't move.
He watched the blast charge.
Waited.
Measured.
Maya grabbed his sleeve.
"Aiden please—"
He whispered:
"I see it."
The Seraphs synchronized:
"FIRE."
The blast exploded toward them—
A beam of annihilating light—
Aiden stepped forward.
Golden aura exploded around him.
And he punched.
BOOOOOOM—!!!
Gold met silver.
The rooftop split.
The sky flashed white.
The blast detonated in a hurricane of light.
Dara was thrown backward.
Maya shielded herself with starlight.
Aiden skidded back meters—
His feet dug trenches in the concrete—
But he stayed standing.
Smoke cleared.
The Seraphs stared, calculation disrupted.
Aiden exhaled softly.
"…Phase One is over."
The calculation Seraph's helmet flickered.
"Correction…
Phase One data collection…
complete."
Maya grabbed Aiden's shoulder.
"Aiden—they're ready for Phase Two!"
Dara screamed, "PHASE WHAT NOW?!"
The Seraphs raised their weapons.
Aiden stepped forward.
"Good."
His aura cracked the ground beneath him.
"Let's see Phase Two"
