&BEGINS&

The halls of Mystic Falls High were bustling with students, a mix of laughter and chatter filling the air.

As he made his way to the office, he noticed a group of girls standing by the lockers, their eyes on him. They were laughing, their voices low and conspiratorial. Leo smiled at them before focusing on the task at hand. Mr. Richards was a tall man with a stern expression, his eyes behind thick glasses. He looked up as Leo entered, a small smile on his face. "Ah, you must be Mr. Astro. I've heard a lot about you."

Leo nodded, extending his hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Richards."

The principal shook his hand, his grip firm. "The pleasure is mine, Mr. Astro. It's a privilege for this school to host a person as accomplished as you."

Leo nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Thank you, Mr. Richards."

As they walked to his first class, he looked around, and his gaze fell on a group of girls standing near the lockers. They were laughing, their eyes fixed on him. He felt a strange sense of familiarity, a spark of recognition: Bonnie, Elena, and Caroline. He couldn't help but think that this was the beginning of his journey into the supernatural and then the multiverse.

At the sound of the bell , Professor Tanner began his lesson. Leo felt someone watching him; in an instant, with Observation Haki, he knew who. Stefan was watching him, sensing something strange about him. The lesson continued, and Tanner started with the questions. From the spectators' perspective, the scene was a bit funny, given the responses from some of the students. While Leo laughed, the professor turned his attention to him. "Mr. Astro, care to respond to the question?"

Leo raised his eyebrow. "Prof, don't you know that I only transferred to Mystic Falls a month ago? And now you're asking how many people died in the Battle of Willow Creek in 1864? How do you expect me to know the answer when surely there weren't more than 500 casualties? Do you know how many people died in 1864 in another battle at Fairfax?"

"Ahahahahahah!" The class erupted in laughter, and the veins on the professor's neck throbbed violently. Leo locked eyes with Bonnie, who was laughing behind her hand, and winked at her, causing her to blush slightly. Before he could reprimand himself , Leo used telepathy to read Stefan's mind and responded, "There were 346 casualties of war, unless we count local civilians."

With renewed vigor, Mr. Tanner smiled and said, "There were no civilian casualties in this battle."

"There were 27 Confederate soldiers , and they fired on the church, believing it to be housing weapons. Such information can be found in the founders ' archives stored in the civil hall , " Leo replied with a smile.

At this, Mr . Tanner dropped the question.

After school, at the Mystic Grill, Leo was reading a book on engineering in a strange language. He was so engrossed in his book that he didn't notice two girls sitting at the next table looking at him.

"Cough, cough"

Looking up, he noticed Caroline and Bonnie next to him. Confused, he said, "Huh?"

Smiling, Caroline said, "Hi, I'm Caroline, and this is Bonnie."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Leo Astro."

Caroline replied, "Are you new in town?"

Raising a brow and grinning, he asked, "How did you know that? From the fact that I told the teacher in class, or from the fact that you've never seen me in town?"

Caroline's smile froze.

"Ahahahahaha," Bonnie couldn't contain her laughter at the sight of Caroline's face.

"Hi gorgeous, I'm new in town. Could you show me around tonight? Dinner's on me."

Bonnie instantly blushed, while Caroline pouted and said, "Hey, how come you made fun of me, called her 'gorgeous', and she got a date?"

Smiling, he replied, "If you want, you can join us this evening. For your other question, it's simple. From the few I've observed, you seem the most outgoing, while she's a little shy. So I deduced that guys often call you gorgeous, beautiful, etc., so to get your attention. To make a lasting impression on me, I had to play that. While for Bonnie, simply making her laugh and complimenting her sincerely worked. Was I wrong?"

They stared at him wide-eyed, stunned, without saying a word, while he continued to smile.

Stunned, Caroline said, "Wow, you're a player, aren't you?"

"No, in fact, I'm a virgin, but I've been very busy these past few years, and it took two wonderful girls like you to catch my attention. It also helps to know a little psychology and have seen a few romantic films." Now both were blushing.

"..."

"Cough, so what can I do for you?"

"Well, we were wondering if you were free tonight."

"Oh, then I beat you to it."

"Huh?" "Huh?"

"Sure, I'm free, for a date between the three of us. What time should I pick you up and where?"

Bonnie, stammering, said, "No, it's not that. There's a party in the forest tonight. We were wondering if you wanted to come."

"Oh, sure, I can."

They began to smile, only for him to say "So the date is postponed. We can choose when to go another time. Bye."

Their smiles froze as he stood up, winked at them, and walked out.

They looked at each other and said at the same time, "What the hell just happened?"

'Ah, another training session was successful. Now, let's see what to focus on this year. Hmm... The techniques I know should be enough for now; at most, I need to research a few spells. For now, I need to get my Ki techniques, Transfiguration/Conjuration, and Ninjutsu to Grandmaster level. Then, I can continue with Charms, Runes, Fuinjutsu, Illusion magic, and Healing magic. If I still have time, I can focus on elemental manipulation. As for my science studies, I'll have to dedicate a lot of time to them if I want to study the entire Altearan database.'

At the party, Leo walked toward the chaos, a glass of beer in hand, looking for Bonnie and Caroline. A few girls tried to converse with him, but he easily dodged them. After a few minutes of no success, he gave up and used Observation Haki to find them. Having located them, he approached them and found them in the middle of a conversation with Elena and Stefan.

"...nts a beer?"

"Hi, beautiful girls."

All four turned to him.

Bonnie and Caroline said, smiling, "Hi, Leo."

"Hi," "Hello."

"Leo, these are..."

"Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore."

"How did you..."

"It's simple. We were in class together today, and if you know how to listen, oh, the information you uncover 😊. Anyway, nice to meet you."

Elena replied, "Same here."

As Stefan continued to stare, 'Dude, I'm straight,' he thought, raising an eyebrow at Stefan.

"Cough," Elena elbowed Stefan, nodding for him to say something.

"Hi, I'm Stefan," and offered him his hand.

"No, Sherlock, I was thinking you were Damon," shaking his hand.

"What?"

"Nothing," Leo grinned, returning his focus to the girls.

"So what do they usually do at these parties? 😊"

They exchanged glances, their smiles growing.

"Nothing; you get drunk, you dance, you talk, you have sex, or if you're one of them," pointing to a group of stoners, "you take drugs."

"Oh, okay, leaving the drugs aside, what order should we go in, or can we get right to the fun part? 😇"

Stammering and blushing, they couldn't answer. While Elena froze in disbelief at what she'd heard, and Stefan raised an eyebrow, which in his language meant 'Dude, really?'

To ease their pain, he said, "Relax; before we have sex, we have to go to on our date tomorrow first. 😉"

By now, their blushes had become the same color as his hair.

Taking a deep breath, Bonnie said, "Okay, okay, we get that you like to joke."

"Who says I was joking? 😈"

"Fuuuu, okay...."

At that moment, they heard someone scream and saw Jeremy running with Vicky in his arms. Reaching them, he saw that she'd been bitten by a vampire. He immediately knelt down beside her and checked her pulse and airway, while simultaneously calling 911.

"Hey, who are you?"

"Jeremy, stop; he is just checking if she's still alive."

"Hello, a girl is unconscious and has been attacked... Yes, we are..." Ending the call, he noticed Matt and said, "She's still alive; the ambulance is on the way. I advise you to go with her, while"—looking at all the other people nearby—"for all of you, I suggest you to go home, because I think the party's over." He nodded to Matt, glancing at Stefan.

While they waited for the ambulance, he thought about Vicky's ending in the series: "Vicky's a bit out of her mind, but Matt is a good person and doesn't deserve to lose his sister over some asshole's whims." So he established telepathic contact with Vicky and implanted a suggestion in her to quit drugs and get her life back on track, and to also forget the suggestion implanted in her by Damon.

As Leo was driving home, he saw Caroline getting out of a car with Damon. 'Damn, I forgot Caroline was Damon's plaything in the first place.'

Stopping the car, Leo got out and joined them, just as Caroline inserted the key into her front door. Damon, of course, had already discovered his arrival and turned to him. "You're busy somewhere else; you can go."

'This asshole wants to plant a suggestion in me.' Raising an eyebrow, he said, "Of course, you're busy too, and certainly not with Caroline, so get your ass out of here before I have to remove it."

Surprised that his trick didn't work, Damon smiled sarcastically.

"Leo, what are you doing? Don't butt in; it's none of your business who I have sex with."

"Of course, if the person is Damon Salvatore."

"What? Do you know him?"

"No, but I know his reputation. So Damon, you can go."

"Hahaha, it's been a long time since anyone spoke to me like that, especially if they know my true nature, as you seem to. So what's stopping me from ripping your head off and continuing with what we were about to do?"

Caroline still didn't understand what was going on, but she's starting to sense that Leo wasn't simply jealous.

At that moment, still staring at Damon, who still had that smirk of someone who thought he had got everything under control, Leo's aura flared up, and with speed that surpassed Damon's, he arrived in front of him and lifted him up by the throat. "You can think what you want, but if you think that I will permit you to touch a single hair on the heads of those dear to me, at that moment you will no longer be a vampire who continues to live because I don't care what he does, and you will become a dead vampire; do you understand?"

"Crystal clear."

Throwing him aside, he got up and ran away. Caroline, seeing all this, didn't know what to say. "What just happened?"

"Caroline, why don't we go inside and talk?"

"Uh, sure, come in."

"One moment," he picks up his phone and sends a message.

"I just texted Bonnie, telling her to come over."

"Why?"

"Because she's also invested in what's happening in town, even if she doesn't know it yet."

"Ahhhh, okay. Hey, how do you know her number?"

"Uh, oh, nothing complicated, I hacked your phone and sent a text to Bonnie, making it seem urgent."

"What?"

"Nice, right?"

"Yeah, cool, no, wait, no, cool, you can't hack my phone like it's nothing; you know the word privacy?"

"Calm down, I just did it to save time; I just sent a text and that's it."

"Ahhh, okay."

While we waited for Bonnie, we chatted. Her mom would be working late, so I wouldn't have to worry about any more interruptions. After 15 minutes, we heard the sound of a car parking, and it was Bonnie.

'Now, how the fuck I have to explain this?'
