The palace dining hall was MASSIVE—
A cathedral of marble and crystal.
The ceiling soared fifty feet high, painted with constellations that glowed softly with enchanted starlight. Two enormous chandeliers made of sunstone crystals hung above us, scattering golden light like fairy dust.
Velvet banners embroidered with the kingdom's crest lined the walls. The entire hall smelled like honey, cinnamon, roasted meats, and wealth.
