It has been two weeks since Lara was poisoned, and she still wasn't awake.
Curtis spent every waking moment with her. She was placed in a VIP ward, so he took all his baths in the ward's hospital rather than going all the way home.
Lazarus brought clothes for him straight from the house, as well as his laptop. Curtis did not work the way he used to, but he checked on stuff from time to time.
The rest of his attention however, was on his wife. His still, unconscious wife.
Curtis was worried with each day that passed. He badly wanted her to wake up, to speak to him. To smile at him.
He wanted her to wake up and act sassy like she used to. He missed her so much even though he spent every waking hour beside her.
He missed Lara so much that his heart has been in a constant state of longing.
But more than ever, his love for her deepened. She was, without mincing words, the absolute love of his life.
