**Chapter 21: The Dark Alliance**
Morde was leaning against a rock, breathing with difficulty, when suddenly a blue light appeared right in front of his eyes. Morde narrowed his eyes, and when he opened them again, a man was standing before him. Morde immediately tried to straighten up, but it was futile; he had no strength left.
Morde coughed and asked, "Who the hell are you?"
The man replied, "Calm down, Morde. I am not your enemy. On the contrary, I am your friend."
Morde smirked. "How can I be sure of that?"
The man answered, "If I were your enemy, you would be dead by now."
Morde sneered, "You think you can defeat me?"
The man replied, "In your current state, you couldn't even defeat a lifeless body. Please, let's be realistic, Morde."
Morde responded, "I guess you're right. So, what do you want from me?"
"Simple. An alliance."
Morde asked in surprise, "What alliance?"
The man answered, "Your goal is to destroy Nexan. Our goal is exactly the same."
"Who are you?"
"Then, with your permission, let me introduce myself. I am the Ice Mage Flem, the right hand of the King of the Ice Kingdom, King Task."
Morde was startled. "But aren't you part of the World Government? Everyone knows King Task."
"He is not pleased with this situation and is waiting for an opportunity to be expelled."
Morde asked, "How will you be expelled from the World Government without doing anything?"
Flem laughed and replied, "Very simple. Our men and the soldiers of the Ashura Kingdom are digging in a secret area. We will use this situation to our advantage and declare war on them, but this is only to leave the World Government."
Morde asked, "Why all this trouble? Why not leave normally?"
Flem answered, "Very simple. Once you join the World Government, you cannot leave through normal means."
Morde asked, "Then how did Nexan leave?"
"That's an even better question. And nobody knows the answer."
Morde asked in amazement, "Why is this a secret?"
Flem replied, "I told you, nobody knows. Anyway, King Task sent me. What is your decision?"
"Before that, I have one more question."
"Very well, ask."
"How did you find me?"
Flem answered, "Finding you wasn't hard. The hard part was reaching you before anyone else killed you. Luckily, we were one step ahead of your enemies. You see, our alliance is already paying off."
Morde laughed. "You're a cunning bastard, Flem. Alright, I accept your alliance. What happens now?"
Flem replied, "Soon, the Ashura Kingdom and the Ice Kingdom will go to war, but it won't be a real war. And this way, we will cease to be a kingdom of the World Government. After that, our alliance with you will come into effect. And we will destroy Nexan in a maximum of three waves of attacks. That's the plan."
Morde began to speak. "Alright then, take me to Task."
Flem asked, "Aren't you worried? What if we lose?"
Morde replied, "As long as I'm here, it's impossible for you to lose."
Flem laughed. "Fine, let it be as you say. But first, you need some rest. After that, we will go to my king."
Morde leaned back and began to rest. Flem spoke, "I will check outside. Just in case. You rest, and we will set off when you're ready."
**The Sacred Lands: High Command**
Meanwhile, Fleet Admiral Kaizen had arrived at the sacred lands and entered the magnificent palace. As he approached the Five Bugs, guards were at the door, led by Argus.
"What are you doing here, Kaizen?" Argus asked.
Kaizen replied, "I have something very important to tell the Five Bugs."
After this response, Argus knocked on the door and entered. "Sir, Kaizen wishes to see you." Argus then exited. "Okay, Kaizen, come in."
Kaizen entered and began to speak. "I apologize for disturbing you, but I have something very important to say." A stern voice commanded, "Speak directly." Kaizen began to speak and summarized the situation. One of the Five Bugs, Neicshiro, stood up and said, "Capture Morde and execute him. Do whatever is necessary, right now." Kaizen immediately said, "At once, sir," and left the room.
When Argus saw Kaizen, he said, "I take it the talk didn't go well."
Kaizen replied, "If you say one more word, I will melt you."
Argus got angry and was about to say something when Mr. X appeared and calmed them both down. He calmed them both down by saying things like, "Hey, we're on the same side, calm down." As Kaizen left, he simply said, "Pray for X to come here." He immediately returned.

**The Ruins of Fevay: A Fateful Encounter**
Meanwhile, Kai had reached Fevay. He was shocked by what he saw. The place was filled with corpses, and the entire kingdom was in ruins. He couldn't believe his eyes and asked himself, "Did Morde do all this?" Then he made a decision: "I have to stop him, no matter the cost."
Just then, Kai sensed something approaching him from behind. "Who is this?" he asked. The person arriving was Neros. Neros had also reached Fevay and quickly arrived at Kai's location.
"Hey, who are you? What's your business here?" Kai asked.
Neros replied, "I assume we're both looking for the same thing."
Kai began to speak, "Are you a friend or a foe?"
Neros replied, **as Ash Chains materialized around his hands,** "You decide."
Upon hearing these words, Kai took a battle stance and said only one thing: "I feel sorry for you."
