Chapter 3 - Psychokinesis, at a Level That Can Break the Setting

Yoimiya's whole body went numb.

She had just finished sincerely wishing Su Xuan a peaceful journey ahead—

And the very next moment, this man decided to march straight to his death??

"That's the Shogun he's talking about!!!"

Yoimiya nearly screamed.

She didn't know who the "big-braid girl" was, nor what the "Plane of Euthymia" meant—

But everyone in Inazuma knew the meaning of:

"There will always be mortals who dare to face the thunder's majesty."

"Musou no Hitotachi."

These words existed only to proclaim the unreachable authority of the Raiden Shogun.

"What kind of power did he unlock… to become bold enough to think he can withstand that strike…?"

And what's worse:

He called the Shogun "big-braid girl."

And even told her to "come out and wash yourself clean."

If the Shogun learned of this—

Even if Su Xuan didn't go looking to test blades, the thunderstorm would descend first.

Burning him into charcoal before he even walked past the city gates.

The more Yoimiya thought about it, the paler she became.

Su Xuan, I can help hide the fact you robbed the Outlander Affairs Office.

But if you go pick a fight with the Shogun… and she finds out I helped you—

We'll die together!

Grand Narukami Shrine — Mt. Yougou

The usually sly, smug pink-furred fox priestess suddenly grew silent.

When Su Xuan mentioned recognizing Yoimiya's kindness, or the corruption of the Kanjou Commission—

That could simply be chalked up to observation.

Even recognizing the forced fees imposed on foreigners wasn't remarkable.

But—

The moment he mentioned the Plane of Euthymia—

Everything changed.

The Plane of Euthymia was the internal, spiritual realm of Raiden Ei herself.

Even most of Inazuma didn't know who the real Raiden Shogun was, much less that the body on the throne was a puppet.

Yet the diary writer knew.

"So he knows that Ei resides within the Plane of Euthymia…

And that the one in Tenshukaku is the puppet, the Raiden Shogun."

Yae Miko's expression darkened.

"What is this man…"

If he knew all this and still chose to challenge—

Then he was either:

A fool beyond salvation,

or

A madman certain of his victory.

Yae Miko frowned.

"…No. He hid the identity of the girl who helped him. He's not careless."

"And the power he claims to have comes from beyond this world…"

Miko looked toward Tenshukaku, eyes narrowing.

She wanted someone to drag Ei out of that stagnant eternity she locked herself inside—

to force her to look at the Inazuma that had rotted under her name.

But—

Ei was still her friend.

And now, for the first time—

Yae Miko felt a sliver of fear.

If Su Xuan really possessed power capable of harming Ei—

She would not allow it.

Then she read the next line.

Su Xuan: "Big-braid girl."

Yae Miko:

"…Pfft—"

She burst out laughing.

"Well. At least he has character."

"Since he's marching straight to Ei's doorstep, he probably doesn't intend to truly harm her."

Over Inazuma City — High Above the Clouds

A lone figure hovered more than a hundred meters in the air.

Su Xuan looked down at Tenshukaku, then opened the glowing interface before him.

[Host]: Su Xuan

[Items]: None

[Ability]: Psychokinesis (Tornado-Tier, Redrawn Version)

[Traits]: None

[Authority]: None

[Draw Chances]: 0

The system was simple.

Every day, based on his diary entries and the emotional reactions of those who read it, he would receive draws.

And the prize pool… was infinite.

From trivial household goods

to god-slaying authorities.

But he ignored the draw counter.

Today's settlement hadn't happened yet—and the Starter Gift was already more than enough.

"Newbie packs really are different."

Su Xuan raised his hands, faint psychic light shimmering along his arms.

Tornado-tier psychokinesis.

And not from the original version—

but the redrawn version.

In the redraw, power scaling was… dramatically exaggerated.

This was the Tornado who:

Crushed serpent-gods capable of splitting planets

Twisted an entire metropolitan city into a spiral

Tore a vast underground civilization straight out of the earth

If Su Xuan used this power from where he hovered now—

He could, quite literally—

Crush all of Inazuma City, buildings and people alike, into a tight sphere and throw it into the sea.

Or if he felt lazy—

He could simply split Narukami Island apart with a thought.

Psychokinesis could destroy, defend, shield, enclose, and bind—

an inescapable, overwhelming force of pure mind.

Su Xuan glanced down again, expression calm.

[Ba'alzebul. Are you ready for my arrival?]
