The two of them were sitting on the sofa.
Mei was miserably covering her face.
So annoying.
This man really didn't know how to be gentle with a delicate girl at all. He'd pinched her so hard her face was definitely going to get bigger.
What was she going to do then?
Feeling wronged, Mei secretly glanced at Otis. She had thought that since she'd been so sincere, he would at least go easy on her. But no, there had been absolutely nothing gentle about it.
Her waist was still wrapped in Otis's jacket. She took it off, and her anger eased a little.
Sigh, fine. He did carry me on his back and was quite thoughtful about it. I'll let him off just this once.
She held up the jacket and asked,
"Do you need this washed? I can wash it for you if you want."
Otis glanced over. "Just throw it in the washing machine."
Mei tilted her head. "Won't it get wrinkled if I just throw it in?"
Otis pointed at the jacket in her hands.
