Evelin's POV
I quickly pushed away the random thought that had just crossed my mind.
Jimmy and I had no connection whatsoever originally.
I couldn't remember ever crossing paths with the Hamilton family during my childhood.
So there was no way I could have known Jimmy as a kid.
Besides, someone with Jimmy's striking features would've been memorable even as a child.
My memory had always been sharp. I simply had no recollection of ever encountering someone like Jimmy in my youth.
"Fine, let's do a pinky swear," I said, holding out my little finger.
Our pinkies linked together.
"Pinky swear, stay true for a hundred years,"
Jimmy whispered softly, repeating the childhood chant I'd known by heart since I was little.
Something flickered in my eyes—a moment of confusion.
It felt like I was seeing my younger self, having made this same promise with someone before.

Margot watched the scene unfold, her jaw clenched tight, jealousy and rage burning in her eyes.
