Selina glanced up as Stephen appeared in her office doorway.
She'd thrown out the suggestion some time ago—if he couldn't find decent work, he could always join her company. But Stephen had taken his sweet time actually showing up.
"That offer still good? Can I work here? I'm... I'm really strapped for cash," Stephen mumbled, shifting uncomfortably.
"Absolutely," Selina said without hesitation. "I'll get my secretary to walk you through the company in a few minutes. We'll find the right spot for you."
Stephen's eyes lit up with relief. "Thank you."
"You mentioned last time that you got into modeling because someone in your family was sick and you needed money fast. How much are we talking about now?" Selina asked.
"Seventy thousand," Stephen said quietly.
"Text me your bank details. I'll wire it over shortly," Selina said matter-of-factly.
Stephen stared at her. "You're seriously going to send me seventy grand? What if I can't pay you back?"
