Xiao Han stepped out of the portal. The moment his black combat boots touched the broken asphalt, an arrow whistled towards his throat.
Without even looking up, his eyes flashed with red light, and the arrow disintegrated into ash mid-air.
Following that, a blast of heat vision shot out, bisecting Zombie Hawkeye, who was hiding behind a wrecked car.
"Clint," Xiao Han said, watching the remains of the former marksman twitch on the ground, his decaying face still contorted with a hungry snarl.
But there was no time for sentiment.
The instant the portal closed behind him, the entire street fell silent for a second.
Then, countless pairs of blood-red eyes snapped towards him.
The zombie heroes.
Underneath Captain America's decaying star-spangled uniform, his bones were visible, stark white. The edge of his shield was stained with dried blood.
Wolverine's Adamantium claws were covered in shreds of flesh, and a bestial growl rumbled from his throat.
Thing's rocky skin was covered in greenish-gray patches of decay, each step leaving cracked footprints on the ground.
"Roar!!!"
With a roar from Zombie Captain America, all the heroes attacked simultaneously!
Captain America threw his shield, which Xiao Han intercepted with one hand, flinging it back toward the zombie's neck.
Crack! The head, still wearing a tattered cowl, tilted at an unnatural angle, but the corpse kept charging forward until Xiao Han finished it off with Heat Vision, completely vaporizing the head.
The second to attack was Wolverine.
"Logan, rest in peace." Xiao Han's eyes blazed, and his Heat Vision, like a laser scalpel, sliced Wolverine in half.
But Wolverine didn't die. His charred lower body began to writhe and regenerate, while his upper body clawed at the ground, trying to crawl forward!
"A nuisance."
Xiao Han frowned, and his Telekinetic Field instantly expanded, imprisoning Wolverine's remains in mid-air.
The rotting innards and writhing flesh contorted within the force field, unable to break free.
The third one was Thing (Stone Man).
A hundred-ton punch slammed towards Xiao Han's face, but it was stopped three inches from his nose by the bio-force field.
"You're too slow."
Xiao Han spun, delivering a whip kick that created a sonic boom at his ankle.
The Thing, struck by the immense force, was sent flying backward, crashing through three buildings before coming to a halt.
Zombie Human Torch dove down from the sky, his entire body engulfed in eerie blue flames.
"Burn to ash!" he snarled as he lunged.
Xiao Han didn't even bother to lift his eyelids, firing a blast of Heat Vision directly through his forehead.
Zombie Human Torch instantly extinguished, transforming into a charred corpse that slammed into the ground.
Just as he was preparing to deal with the remaining heroes, a deafening roar echoed from above.
"Hulk! Smash!!!"
A green giant, like a cannonball, crashed down!
Xiao Han didn't move from where he stood; he knew the Hulk had arrived.
He wanted to test a hypothesis.
Then, he crossed his arms to block. The moment the two forces, capable of shaking the continental shelf, collided, the ground within a hundred meters collapsed in a spiderweb pattern.
A bio-field firmly contained the shockwave within the battle zone; otherwise, the entire Manhattan would have sunk under this blow.
"Interesting. It seems the comic settings are true."
Xiao Han looked at the Hulk, whose muscles were rotting but still terrifying. A battle-hungry curve appeared on his lips.
Crimson light pulsed within the Hulk's eye sockets, and corrosive saliva dripped from his mouth, scorching the ground and sending up wisps of smoke.
This was a real opponent.
Hulk threw another punch. Xiao Han didn't dodge, instead throwing a punch of his own!
BOOM!!!
The shockwave from the colliding fists sent the surrounding zombie heroes flying.
Xiao Han had levitated beforehand, his bio-field dissipating most of the impact, and he only drifted back slightly.
Hulk, however, crashed into the building behind him, but immediately roared and charged out again.
"Mirror Dimension."
Xiao Han suddenly formed hand seals, golden sparks tracing complex patterns in the void.
Reality shattered like glass, pulling all the zombie heroes, along with Hulk, into the bizarre Mirror Dimension.
Twisted buildings floated all around, where the laws of physics held no meaning.
"Now we can really let loose," Xiao Han cracked his neck.
Hulk didn't give him a moment to breathe, a rotting, massive fist already hurtling towards him!
Xiao Han met the attack with a punch of his own. The two became a black and a green blur in the Mirror Dimension, each collision sending shockwaves through the very structure of the space.
Hulk's decaying fist, packed with immense power, slammed down. Xiao Han sidestepped, and a nearby mirrored building was instantly reduced to dust by the aftershock.
"Rrrraaaagh!"
Hulk opened his maw, spraying green saliva everywhere.
Xiao Han's eyes blazed with golden light, his Heat Vision striking directly into Hulk's throat, but only burned a bloody hole that was rapidly healing.
The target's cell regeneration is exceeding expectations?
Xiao Han's lips curled into a smile. "Now this is interesting."
He suddenly removed the bio-force field restraint and charged his right fist to its limit, his Kryptonian cells emitting a dazzling golden light under the infusion of solar energy.
BOOM!
The shockwave from the collision of their fists spread out in a sphere, causing the New York City of the Mirror Dimension to crumble like blocks.
Hulk was blasted several kilometers away, smashing through over a dozen Mirror Dimension skyscrapers.
Xiao Han shook his numb arm, secretly sighing at how ridiculous the comic book version of Hulk was.
My strength is almost depleted. Looks like I need to spend more time in the sun when I get back.
Hulk attacked again!
BANG!
Once more, Xiao Han sent Hulk flying with an uppercut. But Hulk unexpectedly grabbed a floating piece of debris to change his trajectory and counterattack.
Zombie Spider-Man seized the opportunity to attack from the side, shooting a web that ensnared Xiao Han's right leg.
Xiao Han quickly turned his head and unleashed a Heat Vision blast that took Zombie Spider-Man's head off. At the same time, his left leg came down like a battle axe, severing the other attacking zombie hero at the waist.
Hulk exploited this brief opening, delivering a heavy punch to Xiao Han's back.
Xiao Han's reaction speed was already far beyond that of Hulk's. In his eyes, Hulk's punch moved as slowly as a snail.
He twisted in mid-air, delivering a whip kick that slammed into Hulk's head.
"ROAR!!"
Hulk's seven orifices spewed black blood, but he grew even more berserk.
He tried to grab Xiao Han around the waist, but Xiao Han countered by grabbing his neck, pushing him through a dozen Mirror Dimension buildings in a row.
Wherever they passed, the spatial structure warped and shattered like a torn canvas.
Xiao Han's eyes suddenly blazed with unprecedented golden light: "Enough."
Solar Flare!
Blinding white flames erupted from every pore, hitting Hulk at point-blank range. His decaying flesh instantly carbonized.
But incredibly, he still hadn't let go, instead opening his maw, a blood-filled cavern, to bite at Xiao Han's throat!
"Stubborn."
Xiao Han, with one hand, choked Hulk. With his other hand, he formed a blade with his fingers and, with a pfft, plunged it into Hulk's chest.
When he withdrew his hand, he was clutching a pulsating, green heart riddled with black veins.
Hulk's movements ceased abruptly.
His crimson eyes gradually dimmed, and finally, a hint of relief flashed across them.
"Dr. Banner?" Xiao Han narrowed his eyes.
Hulk's lips moved, and with his last bit of strength, he squeezed out a few words: "Destroy... Reed's... lab..."
The green giant's body crashed to the ground with a tremendous thud.
The Mirror Dimension began to collapse, and the surviving zombie heroes turned into black smoke one after another.
Xiao Han stood in the void, gazing at the heart in his palm that was gradually ceasing to beat.
"Time to go to the underground lab at the Baxter Building."
Sir, coordinates locked, but abnormal energy reaction detected.
Jarvis had already accessed Xiao Han's multi-functional watch, and its voice was somewhat grave.
