Jasmin's POV
The rigid shock that coursed through my frame was immediate when I felt his hardness pressing against my stomach. Slowly, with deliberate intent, he moved against me.
Cold terror raced down my spine like shards of ice.
This was the second time I had experienced such contact. When Max had brushed against me, warmth had bloomed through my core. My wolf had purred with instinctive trust and desire. But this contact sent waves of revulsion through me.
This felt like venom wrapped in velvet.
My pulse hammered against my throat, threatening to burst from my chest. Without warning, a snarl tore from my lips.
"You sick bastard," I spat, my voice trembling with disgust. "How dare you turn this into your twisted game!" My fury erupted as my fingernails extended into razor-sharp claws, raking deep gouges across his back until crimson flowed.
