Eunice.
Her full name was Unitrix.
In the Ben 10 universe, Unitrix was created by Azmuth as the prototype of the Omnitrix.
Later, after obtaining Ben Tennyson's DNA, it became a blonde teenage girl.
Unitrix had the ability to acquire animal DNA and gain the corresponding superpowers.
But Bant's Eunice didn't have that capability.
She was merely an artificial intelligence, and her database wasn't even complete yet.
Of course… Bant thought of Dongwu.
Dongwu's future invention could perfectly graft the abilities of one species onto another.
Compared to the Lizard Serum with its side effects, Dongwu's invention was the real cross-species genetic inheritance.
But the Dongwu Bant eliminated hadn't achieved that concept yet.
His Gene Variator was still the oldest version.
The reason he could become that kind of monster in Stark Tower was thanks to the inspiration from Connors' serum.
"Maybe one day I can make my own trix…" Bant thought.
If Dongwu could do it, he could do it. If Dongwu couldn't, he could still do it.
"Eunice, create files: 'Unitrix', 'Ultimatrix'."
"Files created," Eunice replied calmly.
Compared to JARVIS, Eunice was like a newborn baby, blank and inexperienced.
Over the next few days, Oscorp's scientific instruments were delivered one after another.
Many of them were damaged.
Bant could only roll up his sleeves and try to repair them himself.
When it came to fixing machines, Jury Rigg was actually far more useful than Grey Matter or Brainstorm.
Bant didn't have Jury Rigg, but luckily, he had Grey Matter and Upgrade.
He used Grey Matter to figure out how to fix something, then switched to Upgrade and merged with it. In the blink of an eye, an almost brand-new instrument sat in front of him.
Looking at the lab, now completely renewed, Bant felt a strong sense of achievement.
"Now Primus Technology is finally fully established."
Bant didn't set up Primus Technology in bustling Manhattan.
The land prices were too high, the rent was too expensive, and it just wasn't worth it.
More importantly, too many world-ending disasters happened in Manhattan. He didn't want his lab getting wrecked every other day.
So he chose a building in Queens instead.
Not far from Primus was the recently high-profile Hammer Industries.
Ever since Stark Industries shut down its military division, Hammer Industries immediately filled the gap and swallowed a huge volume of U.S. government orders.
But Hammer was an idiot. Bant didn't even bother giving him a second glance.
He rented an entire floor and divided it into several sections.
"This side goes to Connors. Most of the machines we bought from Oscorp are biology-related anyway."
"This side goes to Peter. Sooner or later, that kid is going to work for me."
Peter had always been a genius.
He'd just poured too much energy into being Spider-Man and wasted that gift.
Bant didn't oppose Peter being Spider-Man, but he also didn't want him to forget that he was Peter Parker too.
Of course, Peter was his cousin.
When it came to Spider-Man's "career," Bant could give him a bit more support.
"Time to upgrade his gear."
Peter's equipment was way too rough.
The web-shooters being modified from a useless watch was one thing, but the suit itself had been stitched together with a sewing machine.
Now that Primus had its own 3D printer, as long as he confirmed the suit's 3D data, he could make a new one.
"Web glider wings are classic gear too."
He added web-like gliding wings under the suit's armpits.
Spider-Man often fought at high altitudes, and sometimes the web fluid ran out, which meant falling was a real risk.
Before long, a new Spider suit was complete.
The design was still the classic style, but it had a lot of new functions.
Aside from lacking an AI to match, it wasn't any worse than the one Iron Man gave that Holland kid.
"Once the tech is more mature, I'll get him a new AI too."
Then it won't be "my dad is Iron Man." It'll be "my big brother is Bant Parker."
Thinking that, Bant suddenly realized he didn't have a good codename for himself.
Normally, whether superhero or supervillain, you needed a nickname, otherwise calling out your real name was just awkward.
Like Tony. If you didn't say he was Iron Man, people might think he was a barber from some salon.
"Forget it. I've already got enough aliases," Bant said, shaking his head.
Every alien hero already had its own name. There was no need to pick yet another.
Besides, he didn't have Peter's mindset, thinking about being a superhero all day.
With no school these days, Spider-Man had completely made a name for himself in Queens.
Even Twitter and YouTube were packed with videos of him.
Compared to the high-and-mighty Iron Man, a Spider-Man who loved helping people and started with small everyday things felt closer to ordinary life.
After all, Iron Man wouldn't suddenly appear when you got jumped by a robber on a dark street.
At that time, he'd already be on a hotel bed wrestling with a cover girl.
But Spider-Man would actually save your life.
Of course, mainstream media noticed Spider-Man too.
Jonah, just like in most universes, smeared him with everything he had.
But with the Daily Bugle's high bounty, Peter still sold his photos.
It was like a woman selling her body for money.
At first, there was anger and shame, but once it happened the first time, it became hard to stop.
Little by little, it just started to feel normal.
These days, whenever Bant came home, he'd hear Peter excitedly telling him how much money he'd made selling photos again.
Peter wanted to buy the family a car, so they could all go traveling together during summer vacation or whenever.
That suggestion always made Bant think of that old junker.
"If I wait for Peter to buy it, it'll take forever. I can just buy one myself and modify it," Bant thought.
Besides all that, he still had one more important task.
Help Norman Osborn buy back the company.
Evening at the Osborns'
At dusk, for the first time in days, the Osborn mansion opened its doors to an outside guest.
"You're here, Xiao Ban!" Norman looked at Bant with growing satisfaction.
If only Harry weren't so disappointing and also happened to be a man, Norman would've practically wanted Harry to marry Bant on the spot.
"I have to say," Norman said, striding over and throwing an arm around Bant's shoulder, praising him, "bringing the Hardy Foundation's heiress with you to buy up Oscorp's lab equipment was genius!"
"The news has spread everywhere. Everyone thinks Oscorp is about to be acquired by the Hardy Foundation. Oscorp's stock is practically at limit-down!"
Oscorp, once the biotech leader, had now completely collapsed.
Norman just couldn't understand it. The Hardy Foundation was always shrewd, so why would they help Bant like this?
"I really want to know how you pulled it off," Norman said.
Bant replied, "Maybe it's personal charm?"
Meanwhile, at the Hardy estate
At the Hardy family's mansion, Madam Hardy stared at Felicia with a harsh expression.
"Felicia, I want to know exactly who you went to Oscorp with, for a ridiculous rumor like this to spread everywhere!"
Madam Hardy still had a trace of elegance left, but her personality was sharp and mean, and that severe look ruined what little beauty remained.
"What's wrong, Mom?" Felicia dodged the question.
From the moment she went to Oscorp with Bant, they'd already predicted this outcome.
And that news was something they had deliberately released in the first place.
How could Madam Hardy not have investigated Bant's background by now?
Seeing her daughter play dumb, Madam Hardy knew anything she said at this point would be useless.
Still in high school, and her elbow was already bending outward.
She sighed.
"I'm truly worried that when you grow up, you'll hand the Hardy Foundation over to someone else on a silver platter."
