Chapter 1 - Prologue

The north was once silent.

Only the wind moved — whispering through the frozen peaks where the world's edge met the heavens.

Then came the Obsidian Light.

A sect born from the abyss, their blades black as night, their Qi cold enough to still a man's blood.

From the tundra they marched south, burning villages, shattering sects.

The martial world trembled.

And when all others faltered, one order rose to stand against the storm.

They called themselves the Skywatch Order.

Founded by one man the first generational leadr Ryu san beneath the Northern Star, the Order swore to guard the realm from the shadows beyond the ice.

For six generations, they stood firm — an unbroken wall of steel and will, their banners gleaming beneath the aurora.

Their power was unmatched, their wealth vast, their honor absolute.

At the heart of their might lay a single secret:

The Heavenly Star Art.

No one outside the Order had ever seen it.

It was said that even the elders of the Skywatch did not know its form.

The art passed only from one leader to the next — bound by blood, trial, and fate.

Through this art, the Skywatch endured.

Through this art, the northern frontier remained safe.

But power breeds envy.

The Five Heavens, rulers of the martial world, began to fear what they could not control.

They called the Skywatch Order traitors.

They declared that Ryu Han, the Sixth Skywatcher, had conspired with the Obsidian Light.

The accusation shook the world.

The Five Heavens marched north with rest of the scet of the martialworld.

The fortress of the Skywatch burned — its proud towers collapsing into the snow.

But the Skywatch flame did not die.

Hidden deep within the mountains, Ryu Jin, the Seventh and final heir, survived — his life exchanged for the charred corpse of another.

Trained in secret by his father's friend and his master, he was prepared not for vengeance, but for the Trial.

The art of his clan awaited him — veiled beyond life and death, locked behind his own enlightenment.

Years later, when the world had forgotten the name Skywatch Order

a young man opened his eyes beneath a sky of cold stars.

The heavens were silent — but in their silence, a promise burned.

> "I will uncover the truth my father died for.

And when the stars awaken…

the heavens themselves will tremble."
