The place had been filled with yellow police tape with damaged walls and rusted fences. The factory's emptiness allowed for echoes to sound as the trio made their way around. "This is pointless. There's nothing here!" Maryne said. "Come on. We have to keep searching." Tracey said as the girls walked up the stairs. The sound of metal sent shivers as they found themselves getting to the top.
Using the flashlight to scan the area, Tracey was curious as to why there was red "paint" along a damaged door. "Lol, must be from Lishawn's party," Maryne joked.
Help...me...help...me.
Something whispered. Maryne couldn't hear where it came from as she looked around. "What's wrong?" "Didn't you hear that? Whispers?" "No, all I can hear is MAGDALENE'S CRUNCHIES!" Sorry, I get hungry when I'm scared," she said, devouring the last bite.
HELP-HELP-HELL-HELL-HELLO
Something screamed. Maryne jerked as her flashlight smashed against the floor. Tracey and Magdalene surrounded her as she began shaking. "Someone was screaming. I swear I heard something," Maybe you're paranoid-" "-or she's not, look here," Magdalene interrupted, flashing a bloody trail that led to a door chained to the wall. Tracey took out her hammer and began smashing the lock as it resisted.
"There's no luck! We have to squeeze," Are you serious? It's too tight," "I'll try," Maryne said, manoeuvring her body as she slid through. The room was dark, and a huge hole caught her eye. She took the hammer and tried breaking the lock just as she heard;
You shouldn't be here...
Maryne turned fast, her bat with nails ready to attack. She started breathing heavily as the room got larger. The whispers got louder as she tried to see where they came from but the room was too dark. Then, something touched her shoulder.
She was too afraid to look as the breathing brushed against her ear. Ready to attack, it pulled her in and she fell to her rear end. Lustrous lights shone on her as men in blue suits locked the locks and took the girls out. Tracey wasn't leaving without a fight.
"You don't understand! There's something in there. It can kill us all," "Save your stories for your parents, twat," the police officer said, shoving them in the car. Maryne's heart calmed down as the car drove off, just in time for her to see an eye by one of the windows.
Lishawn jumped from her bed as her phone kept vibrating. She looked away as her phone's brightness lit the room. She scrolled down her notifications to see an invitation from one of her groups.
COME ON DOWN TO BIANCA'S PARTY.
NO CLOTHES! JUST TITS AND DICK!
YOU'RE INVITED, B*TCH
After what happened to her friends and the missing cases of teenagers, she swiped it away and made her way to the bathroom. Walking through the hallway, she froze when the lights began to flicker and a black tail dragged inside. When it stopped, she continued walking in and pulled the toilet lid up. About to piss, the door shut and the light bulb burst as Lishawn grabbed her toothbrush and stood in defence. A figure stood in front of her as it began to cry.
The tearing sounds were familiar, resembling someone she loved. She walked closer to the unknown person, curious as to who it could be. Just as she turned it around, she was too stunned to speak. She couldn't believe it. It was him. He was okay. He was alive? He was her boyfriend, Rae.
Magdalene was furious as Tracey went all out and even attempted to curse in front of a cop. "You don't understand. This thing is responsible for the missing people, the disappearance of young children. If we don't stop it, it's going to continue and cause more deaths in this town. We don't have much time!" she exclaimed but the police officer just notified them that they're parents have been alerted and they are on their way.
Tracey pulled Magdalene and Maryne in as they huddled.
"Okay, time for plan B!" "I've got the equipment, he's going to go to the bathroom after that whole cup of coffee. We seize the opportunity and escape," Magdalene said as the officer rushed for the bathroom. Tracey dragged Maryne who still wasn't coping as they jumped on their bikes and drove off. While driving down, Maryne saw the creature's red eyes and rubbed her eyes when it disappeared, resulting in more fear.
Lishawn wiped her tears and hugged her boyfriend to but she pushed herself away after burning her skin. "Rae-Bae... How are you alive? I saw the creature kill you. I survived. It was tough but I managed to escape and now I'm here. With you, "But I saw you. I saw your insides. I-I saw it kill you," Teary Lishawn said. Rae moved forward as red glowing eyes met with Lishawn's. "I came here because I want you to be with me. I want you to come with me. I miss you, babe. Take my hand and let's go," He said, stretching out his arm. Lishawn was hesitant but she couldn't believe that he was here. Alive and well. She reached out for his hand and when she smiled, she stabbed the toothbrush right in his arm. Rae screamed in pain. She then jumped on him, burning her skin as she repeatedly stabbed the end of the brush into him until he threw her off.
Standing up, Lishawn knew she was right as the creature screeched. "What the f*ck do you want from me!?" she demanded. It stood for a while and as it opened its mouth, the shower curtain melted. "You were not supposed to survive that night. No one was... I don't do any witnesses," it said. Its voice was rough, like it was likely going to cough or had saliva stuck in its throat. Lishawn's eyes opened wide.
"But you did survive. You lived to tell information about me and now you're sister and her friends are trying to get dirt on me. You are my threat and I'm going to make sure you don't live to see another day, Lili," it said, shocking Lishawn further. She couldn't withstand what was happening. The only person who ever called her 'Lili' was her father and he's dead. She was flabbergasted and furious. Gripping the bloody toothbrush, she stood up and said," Go to hell, MOTHERFUCKER!" jumping on the creature, thrusting it with the object and pushing it out the window as she and the creature smashed the glass and flew out, hitting the ground hard.
Tracey shot the chain as the door opened to the room. They all eyes on the hole as Tracey began tying the rope they found at the police station while Magdalene threw something hoping in the hole, hoping it would make a sound but nothing. "I don't think we should do this." "Oh, come on. Don't be a pussy," Tracey said, tying the other part of the rope around the door. "I'm scared, guys. What if it kills you?" "What if it doesn't? One thing about monsters - they are scared when you face them." Tracey jumped into the hole, hoping from each corner, heading deeper with the flashlight in her mouth.
The whispers started passing her ear as Tracey moved slowly beneath. Going deeper, the flashlight flickered as Maryne and Tracey panicked when they saw blue and red lights flashing from outside. "Tracey, we need to hurry up! The cops are here!" Magdalene yelled, but she was unable to hear them.
The whispering for worse as something clutched onto her leg and when Tracey used the flashlight to see, she screamed when she saw children covered with blood.
DO YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH THE DOG AS WELL? They asked, blood dripping from their mouth. She pulled the rope as a signal to bring her back up but she hadn't noticed that the concrete had caused the rope to tear.
She started to climb when there was no movement, as the whispers became screams and more hands were touching her leg. The flashlight then dropped into the hole as she placed all her strength into climbing but struggled just as the rope snapped and she began to fall. She hit her head and gripped onto a little dent as the hands crept up her leg and onto her body. She then started to cry as her fingers were letting go and her hands began to draw her deeper in. Just as her pinky let go, a hand grabbed her arm and they went out fast, the kids screaming for help and their red eyes flashing from the distance.
The other two hugged Tracey as they evacuated the premises and the police made sure not to allow anyone back in the factory.
"What did you see? Was it the monster?" "They were kids. Begging to be freed but they didn't feel or look alive. I don't know what I saw but one thing is for sure: this isn't just a monster. It poses a threat to us all!" Said Tracey, wiping her tears.
