Chapter 143 - Chapter 142 You'll Really Get Fat And Die In The Future

Dancing, especially to the song "Gokuraku Jodo" was something that was obviously impossible for Mai Ge. He was tone deaf and his dancing talent was also extremely poor. After twisting and turning with Amy for a few moments, he couldn't bear to watch anymore and had to give up. He obediently sat aside and watched Amy dance, his smile never fading from beginning to end.

Like her singing talent, Amy's dancing talent is probably inherited from her mother. Although her movements are still a bit immature, but she learns very quickly, and her hand movements are already somewhat similar. Her little arms are extremely cute when they sway.

This was the result of learning from a somewhat clumsy puppet. Once the system switches to a holographic projection semi-intelligent dance teaching version, she will definitely learn better.

The Ugly Duckling wasn't quite done hopping on the chair, so it slid off the chair by itself, then hopped and skipped around Amy, looking very excited.

"Ugly Duckling, you don't need to drink goat's milk today, have some tofu pudding instead." Mai Ge said after thinking for a moment, looking at the lively Ugly Duckling.

"Meow!" The Ugly Duckling turned to look at Mai Ge, as if it understood what he was saying. Its sapphire-like eyes lit up, and it hopped over, rubbing its little head against Mai Ge's leg, becoming incredibly well-behaved all of a sudden.

"Daddy, can the Ugly Duckling eat other things now?" Amy stopped dancing and asked happily.

"Hmm, almost there. The Ugly Duckling grows faster than other cats, so let's start with tofu pudding as its complementary food." Mai Ge nodded with a smile. Cats from another world are indeed different. It's only been a few days since it hatched, but it's already about the same size as his orange tabby cat from his previous life when it was a month old.

"But, wasn't the tofu pudding sold out?" Amy looked at Mai Ge, somewhat puzzled.

"There should be a little left, enough for it to eat." Mai Ge got up and walked towards the kitchen. After eating in the morning, there were about two small bowls left. He put them in the insulated box before opening for business, but the taste might not be as good as when they were fresh out of the pot.

"Meow meow meow!" The Ugly Duckling hopped around happily, soon standing at the kitchen doorway, staring intently at Mai Ge. It seemed very excited to be eating something other than goat milk for the first time.

"I wonder what flavor the little one likes?" Mai Ge glanced back at the Ugly Duckling standing expectantly at the door, hesitated for a moment, then mixed a bowl of sweet and a bowl of salty, and bought two shallow red and blue bowls from the system.

The Ugly Duckling has its own bowls and utensils. Although it snuggles in Amy's arms all day and is very clean because it takes frequent baths, but Mai Ge still can't accept it on the dining table and sharing utensils. He also thinks that guests would feel uncomfortable if they saw it.

"Sweet or savory, which bowl will the Ugly Duckling like?" Amy leaned closer, looking at the two steaming bowls of tofu pudding in Mai Ge's hands, her face full of curiosity.

Yabemia also stopped what she was doing and walked over curiously to look at the Ugly Duckling.

"Meow meow!" The Ugly Duckling stared at the two bowls in Mai Ge's hands, swallowing hard. It had been drooling with envy since it was in Amy's arms that morning, and now that it could finally eat, it eagerly tried to stand up on its hind legs. However, its short legs weren't strong enough, and it lost its balance, falling straight backward with wide eyes, looking utterly comical.

"Ugly Duckling, look at how clumsy you are. If you fall and look even more ridiculous, I won't want you anymore." Amy said, looking at the Ugly Duckling with some disdain.

"Meow~" The Ugly Duckling jumped up in a flash, first rubbing against Amy's little leg, then looking expectantly at the two small bowls in Mai Ge's hands.

"Eat here, but don't knock over the bowls or drop them on the floor." Mai Ge said seriously to the Ugly Duckling as he placed the two small bowls next to the counter.

"Meow meow!" The Ugly Duckling nodded its little head, understanding Mai Ge's words. Its bright eyes looked at the two bowls of tofu pudding, smelling the savory bowl on the left and the sweet bowl on the right, seemingly struggling to decide which one to eat.

The three of them stared at the Ugly Duckling, wondering which bowl of tofu pudding it would choose.

"I think the sweet one is super delicious." Yabemia timidly offered her opinion.

"The savory one is even more flavorful and appetizing." Mai Ge said with a smile.

"I think both the sweet and savory ones are delicious! It's best to eat the savory one first, then the sweet one." Amy suggested earnestly.

However, the Ugly Duckling seemed completely absorbed in the aroma of the tofu pudding, ignoring the three of them. After hesitating for a moment, it finally stopped in front of the bowl of sweet tofu pudding, slowly poking its head over and licking the golden red syrup on top.

"Meow!" The Ugly Duckling's eyes lit up instantly, and it meowed excitedly. It immediately lowered its head and happily began to eat, making soft smacking sounds. The golden red syrup mixed with the tofu pudding, filling the air with a sweet bean aroma.

"It likes the sweet tofu pudding." Yabemia said, her eyes brightening with delight.

"That's not necessarily true." Mai Ge said calmly, even though the little one had hesitated for quite a while.

The Ugly Duckling happily ate for a while with its head down, then quickly lay down, its short legs encircling the bowl, rested its head on the rim of the bowl, and found a comfortable and effortless position to continue eating.

"Ugly Duckling, you're so greedy and lazy, you'll really get fat and die in the future." Amy looked at the Ugly Duckling with some helplessness.

"Nine out of ten orange cats are fat, and the tenth one will break the bed... This saying is indeed true." Mai Ge looked at the Ugly Duckling, who even had to find a comfortable position to eat, and shook his head helplessly. It seems that what Black Charcoal said earlier is going to come true. At this rate, its weight will probably skyrocket in no time.

After finishing a whole bowl of sweet tofu pudding, the Ugly Duckling finally raised its head. Its little face and whiskers were covered in tofu pudding, and it licked its lips with a hint of lingering satisfaction before immediately turning its gaze to the bowl of savory tofu pudding beside it.

Mai Ge glanced at the small bowl, which had been licked clean, with not a trace of syrup left.

He originally thought the Ugly Duckling would stand up to try the savory tofu pudding, but it didn't stand up at all. It just crawled over, stretched out its short legs, hugged the new bowl again, and started eating happily, just as much as when it ate the sweet tofu pudding.

"Haha, it seems the Ugly Duckling likes both flavors, it just likes to eat the sweet one first and then the salty one." Amy said happily, squatting down to pat the Ugly Duckling's head, seemingly very satisfied with its behavior.

"Does it eat both?" Yabemia was slightly disappointed.

"That's true. What doesn't an orange cat like to eat?" Mai Ge shook his head with a smile. Amy liked everything, and he would soon accept the addition of the Ugly Duckling. Seeing Amy playing with the Ugly Duckling, he reached for the music box on the counter and said, "Little Amy, let Daddy modify this music box for you."
