Then, he gives me a big smile as his hands wrap around her neck, and I can see her eyes bulge as he starts to strangle her.
"You pansy a*sed b*tch!"
I shouted, hoping to distract him, but he ignores the insult, grinning at me while he slowly chokes the life out of Tina. I can no longer hear her sobs, as they are also cut off. I can see the stark terror in her eyes as she looks at me, pleading for me to do something. She knows what I'm capable of, which makes the look of pleading in her hazel eyes that much more painful.
I know she wants me to use my ability, but I can't. It's just not working right now.
"I can't," I sob, as I watch her dying. My head hurts too much. Maybe if Vage was here to heal me, I could use them, but she's not.
