Cold stone pressed against Krai's palms.
"Ugh...where"...
A faint dripping echoed somewhere far in the dark, the only sound in what felt like a tomb. A greenish glow shimmered along the walls — faint moss light, barely enough to see by.
He groaned and rubbed his forehead.
"Ugh… did I just respawn in a cave? Wasn't there, like, better places? Maybe a bed, a woman, a breakfast menu?"
He looked around. Only shadows answered.
"Fuck, Figures," he muttered, dragging himself up. "No light, no people, no proper clothes. Just great."
Then—
A faint chime echoed in his head.
[System Booting…]
[Welcome, Krai Arksen. User identified: Lust Resonance Holder Lv.1]
He blinked. "Oh great, hallucinations already."
Wait...if i am reincarnated then
Still, curiosity beat caution. "Open… Inventory?"
Another chime. A light-blue screen flickered in front of him — glowing items hovered in midair like holograms.
A rusty beginner sword. One shiny apple. A weird glowing stone.
Hell yeah
"Nice," he grinned. "Guess the gods didn't want me totally naked."
He grabbed the sword and gave it a few test swings. The balance was clunky, but it had weight. "Still better than a stick. Not mine though, you can't beat a 9 incher."
A low rustle came from deeper inside the cave.
Then another.
Guttural growls followed.
Two small shapes crawled from the shadows — green skin, long arms, yellow eyes glinting with hunger.
Tsk,Tsk,Tsk....
"...Oh, of course it's goblins." Krai sighed. "First cave, first fight. Classic isekai starter pack."
He swung the sword clumsily but with strength behind it. The first goblin fell with a gurgle — but the second leaped and sank its teeth into his arm.
"OW! Damn it—" He kicked it off, shaking his arm. Blood dripped down his elbow.
"Man,Fuck off please"
More shapes emerged. Three. Four. Five.
[Warning: HP 34% Remaining]
"Yo, wait— already?!" He laughed nervously. "Guess I'm not Gojo anymore."
They rushed him all at once.
He swung again, barely holding ground, but one knocked the sword out of his hand.
He stumbled back, panting. "This… this is how my second life starts? Really?"
The goblins surrounded him, snarling. One climbed on his chest and leaned close, drool spilling onto his neck. Its tongue brushed against his skin.
Krai's face twisted in disgust. "You've got to be kidding me—"
"Don't fuck me ,pleaseeeeeee"
Thwip!
An arrow whistled through the dark and pierced the goblin's head clean through.
It fell limp.
Light flared — soft, white-blue light spilling down the corridor. Three silhouettes emerged from the mist.
The first was tall, silver-haired, eyes calm like moonlight. She held a bow still drawn.
The second, tanned and bold, cracked her knuckles with a grin that could start fights.
The third peeked shyly from behind them, clutching a glowing staff that hummed with magic.
The silver-haired woman stepped forward first. "Well… that was a rather dramatic entrance."
The tanned one laughed. "You sure he's not just goblin bait? Poor guy looks half-dead."
The shy girl squeaked, "H-he's hurt…" and knelt beside him, light magic blooming in her hands.
Krai blinked, dazed. "Oh… goddesses?"
[Primary Companions Registered.]
[Sylvi – The Calm Arrow]
[Mira – The Bold Fist]
[Elana – The Gentle Light]
He groaned. "Man, even my hallucinations are hot, will i get to ...no let's live first."
Another chime followed.
[First Mission: Hold hands with Sylvi to gain +10% Strength Boost.]
"Hold hands with who—?" he muttered, before everything faded to white again.
"Fuck ,my chance to show of-"
When Krai came to, warmth replaced the cold stone.
He blinked slowly — flickering firelight painted the cave walls orange.
He was lying near a campfire, covered by a cloak that smelled faintly like lavender and smoke. His wounds were gone.
"Welcome back to the land of the living," came a soft voice. Sylvi sat nearby, her bow resting beside her.
Mira lounged against the wall, biting into an apple. "You owe us, pretty boy. I was about to bet you wouldn't make it."
Elana looked up from mixing herbs. "D-don't tease him, Mira! He was attacked by goblins!"
Krai propped himself up, smirking weakly. "Yeah, thanks for that, by the way. I was about to lose my first kiss to a goblin."
Mira choked on her apple. "Pfft— what?!"
Sylvi sighed, graceful as always. "Your humor survived, at least."
He chuckled, flexing his arm. "And my body, thankfully. So… what exactly are you three?"
The silver-haired archer tilted her head slightly. "We are your companions. The Goddess assigned us to guide and protect you — and to ensure you fulfill your… resonance potential."
"Sounds important," Krai said, sitting up straighter. "Also sounds like I'll get killed without you, so… nice to meet you."
[Tutorial Available: Lust Resonance System Overview]
A window popped up midair.
"Hey, you could've opened earlier," Krai muttered.
[Apologies. User was unconscious.]
"Oh, it talks too. Great. You got a name, system?"
[No. But you may refer to me as whatever pleases you.]
He smirked. "Alright, then. Babe it is."
The girls looked at him, half in confusion, half in disbelief.
Mira snorted. "Yup. Definitely our master."
Sylvi massaged her temple. "The Goddess has an odd sense of humor."
Elana hid her face behind her staff, cheeks red.
Krai stood slowly, stretching. His body felt stronger, lighter — maybe the system's doing. The firelight shimmered against his silver-blue eyes.
"So," he said, flashing a grin, "I died doing something stupid… got revived in a dungeon… met three gorgeous women… and now have a system that flirts back."
He gave a satisfied nod. "Guess being reborn isn't that bad after all."
Another chime sounded.
[New Quest: Prove your worth to your companions.]
[Failure: Permanent Dissolution of Party Contract.]
He blinked. "Wait, what— dissolution? And prove my worth ..... well ,that I can."
Sylvi stood, slinging her bow. "You'll find out soon enough. We move at dawn. Rest while you can, Krai Arksen."
The fire crackled softly as she turned away. Mira smirked and winked. Elana lingered, adjusting the cloak around him before hurrying after the others.
Krai lay back down, staring at the cavern ceiling. His lips curved into a faint grin.
"Asked me to prove my worth, huh? Alright then… let's make this fun."
The flames dimmed, the system's faint hum echoing in the dark.
