Originally, Ryuya thought Yotsuba meant Ichika's room might contain a lot of private girl stuff.
But reality proved he was completely wrong.
The moment the door opened, the first thing Ryuya saw was—
A chaotic pile of more than ten pairs of shoes scattered all over the entrance.
And that was despite the shoe cabinet beside them already being stuffed full.
Looking deeper inside, he saw all kinds of shopping bags, with several pairs of stockings and various clothes poking out.
The room lights were off, but Ryuya's devil-enhanced vision made the darkness look as clear as day.
He could even see several pairs of panties and bras hung haphazardly on a clothes rack.
The only appropriate word to describe it was—
Catastrophic.
"…Was this place robbed?" Ryuya muttered bluntly.
Nakano Yotsuba, however, remained completely calm. She stepped inside and turned on the lights.
"Ichika's room is always like this."
Just then, the lump on the bed wriggled twice. Ichika slowly sat up wrapped in a thin blanket.
"Mmm… don't treat a girl's room like some unexplored frontier, okay?"
"Honestly, you made such a mess again."
Yotsuba put her hands on her waist—clearly accustomed to this disaster—then walked to the closet corner and began tidying the pile of clothes thrown there.
"Hehe."
Ichika chuckled twice and flopped back onto the bed.
"Still sleeping? Get up already. I'm here to tutor you all."
Ryuya lightly kicked the edge of her bed.
"Oh my, a boy finally comes into a girl's room, and you only say boring things like that?"
Ichika hid under the blanket, teasing him with a playful smile.
"I would compliment you… except your room gives me nothing to compliment."
Ryuya said flatly, then suddenly turned his head away and spoke calmly:
"Pull up your blanket. Something that shouldn't be showing is showing."
He genuinely hadn't expected Nakano Ichika to also sleep completely naked, just like him. With how careless she was being, her back blanket had slipped halfway down—exposing the fact that she wasn't wearing anything underneath.
Ichika froze, then quickly pulled the blanket up to tightly cover herself.
"Ahaha… sorry, not wearing clothes is kinda embarrassing."
She laughed awkwardly, her cheeks tinged red.
Ryuya's gaze drifted to her vanity table—covered in a chaotic mountain of makeup products. Most were still open, lids off, spilled around. A whole bunch of color palettes he didn't even know the names of.
Did high school girls really have this many cosmetics…?
He couldn't help thinking of Sakurajima Mai. Her room also held lots of makeup.
Sometimes before heading to work she would lightly apply some—
Maybe that's why she always looked so elegant and mature.
Speaking of which, compared to her four younger sisters, Ichika indeed felt more mature—both in personality and aura.
"Yotsuba, pass me some clothes from over there. Anything's fine."
Yotsuba nodded, then dug through the clothes pile—only to pull out a sexy black lingerie set.
She gulped audibly.
"W-Wah… Ichika wears something this mature…?"
Yotsuba's face was full of shock and admiration.
"You idiot, don't just wave around someone's underwear!"
Ichika complained from under the blanket with a helpless smile. She glanced at Ryuya and noticed—
his expression hadn't changed at all.
"Go get dressed already. I won't observe."
Ryuya said casually, then turned around and left the room, closing the door behind him.
Outside the room, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki had also finished changing.
With all their signature accessories back in place, each girl was immediately recognizable again.
Good—now he wouldn't mix them up…
By the time Ichika came downstairs yawning, Ryuya and the other three had already taken their seats at the dining table in the living room.
"I bought breakfast. Eat it while it's hot."
Ryuya glanced at Ichika.
She wore a grey V-neck T-shirt and white tight pants that outlined her mature, alluring figure perfectly.
She definitely took her time getting ready.
"Oh? You're surprisingly thoughtful today."
Ichika looked a bit surprised, while the other four sisters were already eating—and chatting about all sorts of random topics.
Some talked about the weather, some gossiped, some zoned out.
Not one of them looked at the textbooks in front of Ryuya.
Not even once.
And with that, Ryuya fully understood why their grades were terrible…
He waited quietly until everyone finished breakfast, then tapped lightly on the table.
"Alright, let's start your tutoring session."
"Ehhh? Can't you invent some kind of magic instead? Studying is sooo boring…"
Nino looked completely uninterested.
"That would cost extra." Ryuya answered casually.
"If a human commissions me to develop a new spell, the price is roughly… fifty years of lifespan."
"Haaah!? Never mind then…"
Nino instantly backed down.
Tch. Weak.
Ichika yawned again and stretched lazily.
"Oh come on, what's the point of studying anyway? Once you're out of school, you barely use any of it."
Her attitude couldn't be more half-hearted.
This mindset was almost identical to that of many students with bad grades…
Nino nodded repeatedly in agreement.
Miku remained quiet, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
Yotsuba and Itsuki, on the other hand, immediately took out their textbooks—they were the most obedient to Ryuya by far.
Ryuya sat calmly across from the five beautiful girls and replied in a serene voice:
"It's not that studying is useless. It's that the little bit you've studied so far is what's useless."
"..."
All five of them were momentarily speechless.
As unwilling as they were to admit it, they couldn't deny that Ryuya's words did have some truth.
"Tch, listen to him—talking like some wise old elder…"
Nino muttered. She really was the most rebellious of the sisters.
Ryuya didn't mind her attitude.
He simply spoke quietly with the same calm expression:
"You don't need to care about me.
But this is Yotsuba's wish.
Her sincerity in making this wish was strong enough to summon me—a devil.
Logically and emotionally, the rest of you should at least respond to her expectations."
His words struck them like a soft blow.
The sisters all froze.
Yotsuba hadn't expected him to bring up her feelings.
Her face immediately turned red around the ears.
"Ah—haha… d-don't look at me like that…"
The others exchanged glances.
Perhaps because Ryuya's words touched something inside them, their attitudes changed.
They no longer slouched lazily or acted indifferent.
One by one, they quietly took out their textbooks.
Seeing this, Ryuya opened his own teaching material with the same calmness.
And so, he began his very first tutoring session…
