Chapter 2 - Another world...

My eyes opened. An unfamiliar ceiling, an unfamiliar room, an unfamiliar world. Around me, countless people watched my every move, their gazes assessing, expectant.

I took stock of my new body. Taller, broader, more substantial than my previous vessel. My mind raced, cataloging possibilities, analyzing the situation with practiced efficiency.

The voices around me were alien, yet familiar in their judgement.

"Would he awaken a talent higher than A-rank?"

"Doubt it. He's worthless. Even his own mother expelled him from the main house."

"Well, he still has the Scarlet blood. That has to count for something. I'm sure it'll be better than those pitiable commoners."

"True, true." The voices murmured, agreeing that I would, at the very least, surpass the common rabble.

Unlike others, who would be stunned by waking up in a foreign place, I felt nothing. Every second I died, so rebirth in another reality held little terror or surprise. It was, in a twisted way, a blessing. Another chance, perhaps, to escape the endless cycle of suffering.

Based on the voices I've heard, this world operates like a game. Talents, ranks, bloodlines… Awakening. Am I awakening today? My gaze drifted to a strange, crystalline structure. The focal point of everyone's attention. I reached out and touched it.

"Oh, it's starting," a voice announced.

What is this feeling? It's familiar. A surge of energy coursed through my veins, a sensation that resonated with something deep within me. An echo of my past life, perhaps. As the crystal's light faded, a screen materialized above it.

Kael Scarlet

Talent: Blood Sword (S)

Race: Human (Vampire Blood)

Trait: Blessed by God

Description: A worthy talent of Scarlet blood even those worthless fool will be great in the face of mighty upbringing

"Wow. So even a 'worthless child' can be this talented," someone scoffed.

"Yeah, now I know why they're one of the ten Royalties, despite being human," another voice chimed in.

"Well, they are descendants of vampires. It's to be expected," someone pointed out.

While the crowd chattered, I analyzed the screen before me. An S-rank talent. A prestigious bloodline. A blessing from a god. It was a promising start.

I had overheard someone who was also newly awakened that one can see all about said status.

"Young Master, shall we?" A butler, impeccably dressed and radiating quiet authority, approached me. I nodded, and followed him away from the crowd.

As we walked, the butler spoke, his tone carefully neutral. "Young Master, would you like to return to the main house?"

Apparently, I had been residing in a branch family, separate from the main household. Hmm?

My emotions… they feel strange. Unfamiliar. No… my head is hurting… A wave of nausea washed over me, accompanied by a sharp, stabbing pain in my skull. The memories of this new body, this new life, were beginning to surface.

"Take me to my room first," I said, my voice strained. "I'll go to the main house tomorrow."

"As you wish, Young Master," The butler bowed his head, and led me to my quarters.

Arriving inside my room, the pain intensified, overwhelming my senses. I could no longer think, no longer analyze. Instinct took over. In a desperate attempt to alleviate the pressure, I slammed my head against the floor.

With each dying breath this has been how I lived through a lot of events and a different outcome.

To my surprise, the wound began to heal. The pain subsided, replaced by a tingling sensation. It healed? And it's even faster? How?

Was this world the same? So how can I retain such power.

The new memory began to show as if a movie was playing with it each strike making it feel real but the pain isn't real.

"Kael Scarlet you're so alike to that girl"

They Shared the same personality in the same light, in the way that people may even understand

"Status", I muttered. The power will also hold the knowledge so can I find if the power did follow me even after all this event

Kael Scarlet

Talent: Blood Sword (S)

Race: False Immortal

Blessing: Immortal

Curse: Immortal

Rank: F

Strength: F

Speed: F

Mana: F+

The status screen was now visible a the most thing that could give insight it did. And yet he knew that it wouldn't be that clear so,

"Hmm? What's this Blood Sword?"

Blood Sword: The greater the blood output the stronger the sword you create, the stronger your sword the stronger the sword art you will learn

"Hmm? So as I gradually strengthen the sword, I learn better sword arts? Interesting…" I have always tried the sword but this time it could actually work.

False Immortal: Despite being human, you hailed one of the vampire's characteristic being pure human while also being pure vampire

"Being pure human while being pure vampire? What kind of nonsense is that?" Still that wasn't what was bothering him.

Immortal: Blessed by gods as an immortal you are ageless and resistance to any sort of killing be it physical, mental, or by soul you are immune to anything that dangers your life.

Existence Erasure Immunity

Conceptual Manipulation Immunity

Absolute Death Inducement Immunity

"The blessing is overpowered but also a curse,"I sighed. But this time I won't follow that cycle.

And on top of all that, I had somehow regained my immortality, only this time, it was even stronger. Not even the being that killed me would be able to kill me In this life.
