Chapter 50 - Chapter 50 Enhanced Throwing Gun

Emotion Control Aura, this was a special skill Aura taught Iri.

The effect was just as its name suggested: it could regulate the emotions of those affected. The emotions Iri imbued into this Aura were panic and anger.

The goal was to make those two lizard-like creatures feel startled, then angry, and finally emerge on their own.

While Despair Aura could also achieve this, Despair Aura only caused fear, scaring them away directly. What fun would that be?!

So, she chose this one. However, this Aura did have a drawback: its range was difficult to control. That's why Iri had been continuously confirming the scope of the entire forest from the beginning.

Then, let's begin!

Iri took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled towards the forest. A light purple Aura spewed from Iri's mouth.

Ugh… looking at it herself, it seemed like she had terrible bad breath. It was really a bit uncomfortable, Iri silently complained to herself in her mind.

Good! The first wave of panic. One more time, this time for anger. Iri repeated the process, then brushed off the leaves on her body and walked back as if nothing had happened.

Seeing Iri return, Xiumu and Xiao Di finally lowered their hands from their ears. Iri felt a bit helpless seeing this, but fortunately, her goal was achieved, so such minor things didn't matter.

Just as she stepped out of the forest, the interior of the forest immediately changed. Flying birds, running beasts, and various strange roars and running footsteps were everywhere. It seemed to be working. All that was left was to wait patiently.

At this moment, Xiumu and Xiao Di, seeing the unusual activity in the forest, both tensed up and prepared for battle.

"Big brothers, as agreed, I'll be responsible for the combat," Iri said with considerable ease.

Even if you two came to help, you'd only be causing trouble. After all, that lizard commission was for Mithril-level Adventurers, and these two Adventurers were Iron-ranked. It would be too difficult for them!

The most important thing was… if they participated in the battle, valuable experience points would be split among them!

"Whoa, whoa! It seems a bit bad," Xiao Di also seemed to sense that the entire forest was off. Xiao Di, having been a scout for so many years, had never encountered a forest in such a chaotic state, so panic was understandable.

"Trust Miss Iri! It'll be fine!" Xiumu, however, trusted Iri greatly, which made Iri feel a bit embarrassed.

At this moment, the commotion inside the forest grew louder. Iri turned around and saw trees falling one after another in the distance. It seemed they were knocked down by some large creature. Good, it came out so quickly.

Iri confidently faced the forest. Having activated her senses, Iri clearly detected two large creatures charging towards her direction. They must be those two lizard-like creatures.

Xiumu and Xiao Di, watching all this from a distance, couldn't help but swallow. Although they knew this little sister was indeed very powerful.

But no matter what, she was just a little neighbor girl who looked like she was 12-13 years old. Was it really right to let her face such a terrifying monster alone?

However, they also clearly understood their own strength. Forget Giant Stone Poison Lizards; they might not even be able to defeat a single Ogre.

Now, they no longer needed their senses; they could see the actual bodies of those two lizard-like creatures with their naked eyes. To describe them… they were green lizards… that's right! Besides being very large and having eight legs, there seemed to be nothing special about them. If compared, they were probably about the size of a small car?

But then again, it's not the mount of some unprincipled main god, so why set it to have eight legs? Is it fashionable? It looks disgusting. Iri thought.

So… it's time to deal with these two big reptiles. How should I handle them?

She had already told those two Adventurers that she was a magic caster. Directly bashing them to death with a hammer, a combat style so unlike a magic caster, Iri resolutely refused.

So, should she use magic to solve it?

Then the problem arose: she couldn't use any offensive magic at all.

Ugh… Damn it! I should have known not to brag about being a magic caster… Now I'm in big trouble, aren't I?!

While Iri was hesitating, the two large reptiles charged closer and closer. Xiumu and Xiao Di in the distance held their breath, fearing that the next scene they'd witness would be this cute little sister being trampled to death by these two lizards right before their eyes.

I got it! This will do! Anyway, these natives don't have much knowledge! At that time, I'll just make something up and say it's my original magic, won't I?! Iri thought of a good idea.

Then, let's prepare for the disguise. If I use that skill, the destructive power is sufficient, but it doesn't have the destructive power and visual impact of general magic!

So! I need to disguise it! So Iri pulled out a scroll Xiao Di had given her from her pocket, opened it, and tossed it into the air.

"Skill Range Enhancement, activate," Iri muttered.

Then she raised her right hand, high above her head…

Xiumu and Xiao Di in the distance, seeing Iri finally make a move, both held their breath.

"Eat this, you two! A range-enhanced version of Pure Throwing Spear by your old lady!" Iri really wanted to shout that, but there were still spectators!

So she could only mutter it softly, then she swung her hand and threw a Throwing Spear whose attack range had been increased by a magic scroll.

They saw a huge white light thrown from Iri's hand, then it charged directly towards the two large reptiles…

"This…" Xiumu and Xiao Di were both terrified by the unbelievable sight before them.

"Wow!!!" Not only were they terrified, Iri, as the one who used the skill, was also terrified. Iri didn't expect that she had truly overdone it this time.

Because Iri herself didn't expect that the Throwing Spear, after being enhanced by the scroll, could expand to such an absurd degree.

Normally, the Throwing Spear Iri used for practice would only create a hole about the size of a basketball in the stone statue.

That is to say, Shalltear's Pure Throwing Spear's attack power… and speed, were all perfect.

It was just lacking in area destructive power, which is why Iri initially thought of using a skill enhancement scroll to enhance the Throwing Spear's range, to disguise it as her using a magic with a very large attack range.

She didn't expect to mess up… Indeed… the Throwing Spear did get bigger with the scroll's enhancement…

But everything has its limits, doesn't it! Never mind the two lizards that had been evaporated by the immensely huge Throwing Spear, leaving not a single hair behind.

First, explain what that deep pit is, like a slice through butter, that penetrated the entire forest!

And then, explain what that immensely huge hole on the mountain behind the forest, which allows you to see the sky directly, is all about!

I messed up, what should I do now? Iri was sweating profusely at this moment.

How can I cover up this trace, which looks like it was hit by a Super Saiyan's energy wave!

Not to mention the witnesses present, this commotion has probably been noticed by people in Nazarick and E-Rantel too! It directly created a huge hole in the mountain!

"Is this Miss Iri's magic? Indeed… it's a miracle! Perhaps we've truly met someone extraordinary!" Xiao Di said, looking at the deep pit that ran through the entire forest and the large hole in the mountain behind the forest.
