"...Truly a weakling!"
Wang Teng curled his lip, looking down on the goblins.
Clearly, Wang Teng had forgotten about being hit on the head with a rock by the throwing goblins!
Seeing that the threat was gone, Wang Teng stepped out of the damp grass and went to the three small monsters, directly helping them relieve their pain.
The familiar warm current of 'experience' appeared, and Wang Teng felt quite pleased.
Just as Wang Teng was about to move forward to continue searching for more monsters, he heard a commotion in the distance.
Looking in the direction of the noise, he saw a group of eight goblins rushing towards him. Obviously, the two goblins who had run away earlier had gone to call for reinforcements. Now they had found their accomplices, probably selectively forgetting their previous lesson and bringing a bunch of brothers to seek revenge.
But, was this just suicide? Among these eight goblins, Wang Teng also saw some unusual goblins. Besides the two throwing goblins and two ordinary goblins that Wang Teng was familiar with, there were also two blue-skinned cyan goblins and two red-skinned red goblins.
The blue and red goblins looked much like ordinary goblins, just with different skins, and they weren't armed. However, Wang Teng could sense cold and hot auras emanating from them.
Clearly, these were ice and fire attribute monsters. When the goblins saw the fully armed Wang Teng in the distance, they squeaked and charged forward, led by two goblins.
Seeing the timid goblins rushing towards him, Wang Teng didn't hold back, quickly channeling his soul power into his rifle, condensing soul power bullets.
This time, the goblins' swarm greatly improved Wang Teng's marksmanship. Three soul power bullets directly hit the two leading goblins.
One was hit directly on the bald forehead, and instantly, an indescribable red and white substance flowed out. The other was hit in the thigh, falling behind and being unexpectedly trampled a few times by the goblins following behind.
Wang Teng moved swiftly, and before the goblins could even get close, they were all lying on the ground, not even given a chance to escape.
Although only one goblin was instantly killed, the least injured of the remaining seven was the one that had been trampled a few times by its companions; the others lay on the ground groaning.
Wang Teng always enjoyed "helping others," even goblins weren't human, so he sent them to their deaths to save them from unnecessary suffering.
Luckily, two bags of gold soul coins dropped from the monsters. He tossed the bags full of gold soul coins around and smiled with satisfaction, knowing there were quite a few inside, probably more than 40.
Having picked up money so many times, Wang Teng could basically tell how many gold soul coins were inside just by tossing the bag, with an error margin of no more than 5 coins.
Who knows, maybe one day he'd be able to pinpoint the exact number of gold soul coins? He put away his loot and continued forward along the path.
Within minutes, Wang Teng spotted the conspicuous lord – the Minotaur Behemoth – with several goblins beside him. Clearly, the remaining monsters in the dungeon were all here.
However, with the lord present, Wang Teng naturally ignored the smaller monsters. As long as he could take down the lord, the smaller monsters would be eliminated.
Wang Teng had previously thought the Minotaur Soldier in the Loran Depths dungeon, standing over two meters tall, was already quite imposing, but the Minotaur Behemoth was even more so. There are always stronger beings, stronger realms, and stronger beasts!
A domineering aura emanated from it. Based on Wang Teng's estimation, the Minotaur Behemoth was over four meters tall, taller than a typical one-story house. It was covered in brown cowhide, its massive bull head baring its teeth, with sharp horns on its head, and explosive muscles; a single fist was larger than Wang Teng's entire body.
The thought of being slapped like that sent a chill down Wang Teng 's spine. The sheer size of the Minotaur was overwhelming. Of course, Wang Teng figured it was just for show. After all, it was only a boss in a second-tier dungeon; its strength wouldn't be too outrageous.
Looking at the Minotaur's massive body, Wang Teng couldn't help but think that if he were to butcher it, the beef would be enough to fill tons!
If monsters in dungeons didn't simply dissipate upon death, Wang Teng could probably even be a butcher himself. The monster's enormous size had its advantages and disadvantages for Wang Teng.
The advantage was a larger target, increasing his hit rate, but the disadvantage was its thicker health bar. Being a master of stealth, Wang Teng naturally wouldn't rush in for a direct confrontation. Instead, he quietly crept to the edge of the bushes a hundred meters away from the Minotaur, ready to take cover.
The Minotaur's body was enormous, and Wang Teng aimed directly at its head.
*Bang* *Bang* *Bang*
He fired three soul power bullets at the bull's head, then continued to gather more.
"Roar!"
In the distance, three blood blossoms appeared on the Minotaur's massive head, the immense pain causing it to roar in fury.
"Tsk tsk, that sound is much stronger than that lion's roar."
Fortunately, Wang Teng wasn't too close, otherwise his ears wouldn't have been able to withstand such damage.
Three more soul power bullets hit the bull's head. The Minotaur hadn't noticed before, but now it had finally found its culprit and immediately strode towards Wang Teng with its massive bull legs, causing the earth to shake.
This made Wang Teng realize another disadvantage of his height. The Minotaur's legs were long, each stride covering several meters.
Knowing that escape was impossible, Wang Teng opened fire at full speed. The distance between the two was considerable; even for a minotaur to reach them, it would take some time.
With Wang Teng firing at full speed, soul power bullets flew rapidly. Fortunately, his rifle, while not automatic, was still a semi-automatic weapon with a decent rate of fire.
When the Minotaur reached within twenty meters of Wang Teng, it finally succumbed, its massive body collapsing weakly to the ground.
Seeing the minotaur lying there howling in pain, Wang Teng's heart, which had been pounding, finally settled. A few more soul power bullets finished off the Minotaur.
Looking at the bag of gold soul coins and the lord's treasure chest that had dropped, Wang Teng blew a puff of nonexistent gunpowder smoke onto his rifle and nodded in satisfaction.
Hint: Cleared the dungeon - Dark Forest, obtained 200 Lord's Essence.
"Oh? A Tier 1 dungeon gives 100 Lord's Essence, and a Tier 2 dungeon gives 200? So, gathering 100,000 Lord's Essence isn't that difficult!"
