Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

It's currently evening. Chen Guo stretches her slender hands and legs while sitting on the sofa. She took a short nap earlier and just woke up before dinner. Shutting down the television, she went downstairs only to see Tang Rou taking off her shift. Her time at work was almost over, and she was being replaced by another sister.

"I'm taking over, little Tang," she said.

Tang Rou just nodded and smiled. "Okay…" Little Tang was thinking about how to get a Glory account card and wanted to ask Guo Guo for help. She couldn't leave earlier due to her work, but now that it's done, she could finally ask her. Perfect timing when she notices Guo Guo going on her way.

Tang Rou joyfully received her, "Guo Guo! You're finally awake; there's something I wanted to ask you," she said.

Seeing her enthusiasm, Chen Guo was baffled. "What do you need me for, little Tang? " she asked in puzzlement.

Tang Rou didn't hide anything from her. "Actually, Guo Guo, I wanted to play Glory."

At the same time, Ye Xiu and Ron already arrive at the Bone Graveyard. The battle against the wild boss Blood Gunner Yagg has started, but there are no big movements on big guilds; the boss was being attacked by a normal group of players. So many of them were dying left and right.

"What do you think? " Ron asked Ye Xiu; the two of them were hiding behind the gravestone, observing the scene from the shadows.

"Stealing from the boss wouldn't be a problem! " Ye Xiu said confidently.

"I see, my job here is done. I will be going first." Ron bid farewell to him and controlled his character away.

To be honest, he truly doesn't have any interest in the boss and only wanted to see if something big might happen. Now that he led Ye Xiu to the wild boss, he would definitely steal it under the guild's noses.

"Are you leaving already? Why not stay and steal the boss with me? " Ye Xiu suggested.

He also wanted an additional helper since Ron admitted this wild boss doesn't have any materials he needed. Ye Xiu figured he thought that to give him some helping hand to upgrade his silver weapon.

"Oh? I don't think stealing a wild boss from these guys would be difficult for you," Ron said firmly.

Seeing Ron give him high praise, Ye Xiu felt embarrassed. He wanted to say something in the chat, but he received a message notification from a friend, Blue River.

"This guy…" Ye Xiu stares at the chat box with narrow eyes. It was his previous client in setting up the Frost Forest dungeon. He'd say they had a good relationship.

However, this time Blue River was asking for his location to fight against the wild boss.

Seeing him stop talking, Ron decided to stay for several minutes. Something might have happened to Ye Xiu. He doesn't want anyone to kill him and steal that silver weapon. He found it fascinating and hoped it could reach its full potential soon to have a rematch; that's why he brought

Ye Xiu is in here. He might need the item drops from the wild boss.

After several minutes, Ye Xiu finally replied again. "I just received a message from Blue Brook Guild. They wanted me to cooperate in killing the wild boss."

"Blue Brook guild, huh…" Ron repeated the name; he doesn't seem to have a good impression of the guilds.

"Do you have some bad blood with Blue Brook? " Ye Xiu asked.

"Rather than me having a beef with them, it's more that they have a problem with me," Ron explained calmly.

"Oh? What happened? Ye Xiu was intrigued, although he knows the inside and outside of the guild; still, Blue Brook doesn't seem like that kind of guild.

"Well, in Heavenly Domain. Their guild leader directly approached me to invite me to their guild. I refuse, but he still insists, so I massacre them, and that's it," Ron said nonchalantly. "Come to think of it, the guy earlier from Thousand Creation was also part of Blue Brook."

"..." Ye Xiu only responds with ellipsis. Are you sure it's not bad blood? Still, he didn't ask further since the guild are making their move. "It's going to start now," he informed Ron.

Ron, who's about to leave, decided to stay and lend a helping hand. Earlier he wasn't interested, but if it's happening in front of him, he would definitely take part. "Seems like I wouldn't be able to leave then," he said, and the two formed a party.

"Ugrhh!!! " A mage grumbled as he got his body slammed on the gravestone by Blood Gunner. His HP quickly drops to zero, and he turns into a corpse, staying still for a few seconds before choosing to revive again.

Once he's gone, a witch character emerges behind the gravestone, floating in low altitude using the broom as he looks down on the mage.

"What a bunch of nobodies! " he scorned in discomfort. This player was named Plantago Seed, an ace player sent by the guild to pioneer the new server.

"Noobs, obviously…" Another voice chimed in from behind; this time it was someone from the guild Tyrannical Ambition, Cold Night.

Hearing someone speak, Plantago Seed clicked his tongue and asked disdainfully, "What are you guys doing in here? Hiding like a rat when you bring lots of people with you while others fight? "

"I don't want to hear that from you," Cold Night said, and the two sides started an argument.

"Here we go again…" Bound Boat sighs in exasperation. Whenever they had battles against wild bosses, things like this always became their routine. Nothing changes, but the Blue River seems quiet.

"What's wrong, old Blue? "Bound Boat?" he asked, concerned.

"Oh!? "Blue River jolted; he snapped back into reality and said, "It's nothing…"

Truth to be told, Lord Grim just rejected his invitation, which saddened him a little. Also, he received another message from Thousand Creation. Apparently, he tried to steal a kill on Lord Grim but got himself killed by his friend instead. Blue River thinks that Lord Grim's rejection might be related to this matter.

*It would be troublesome to pull him in…* he mumbled.

"ARGH!!! "While they are contemplating and arguing, the boss suddenly screams. The guild leaders look at the scene in front, where there are three people engaged in battle: Striker, Mage, and Brawler.

The Mage started the fight by using Raging Flames on Blood Gunner Yagg, followed by Striker Dashing Job. When the boss charges after the mage, his attack pushes him back, and Brawler takes advantage of that to activate his Sand Toss, aiming at Yagg's eye, followed up by Knee Strike! These movements required Brawler to maneuver behind the target and hit its back with a knee, knocking it up front.

"A Sand Toss followed by a Knee Attack with a hidden effect? This Brawler could be a hidden expert," Cold Night exclaimed.

"Next, he should use a brick to hit him in the head…" Plantago Seed said.

However, the Brawler slaps Blood Gunner Yagg in the face.

"What the fuck is that brawler doing!? "Plantago Seed," she yelled in surprise. "Slapping raises the aggro! He is doomed! Haha! "

"Could that Brawler be not a noob but stupid? "Bound Boat," he said.

The Brawler, Steam Bun Invasion, runs away miserable as Blood Gunner Yagg chases after him while shooting. Steam Bun Invasion made a mistake on his control and got himself knocked back, but Boss, his character, landed on the tree and is about to get killed any second.

Steam Bun prepared himself to die, but to his surprise, the boss's attack didn't land. Just before Blood Gunner fires, Ye Xiu intercepts him using Sky Strike to knock him up.

Ron uses that momentum to execute a double jump and reposition himself behind the Blood Gunner Yagg, activating double stab. This time the boss didn't suffer from any bleed effect because it's undead. So his goal was to control the boss, redirecting its position towards Ye Xiu, who willingly stabs him using Dragon Tooth and tosses it back to Ron using Falling Flower Palm.

Ron, on the other hand, uses Triple Slash, pushing the Blood Gunner Yagg into the open area, and Ye Xiu commands the other party (Mage) to use his Raging Flames again after just reaching its cooldown.

While issuing a command, Ye Xiu even had the luxury of asking Steam Bun Invasion to invite them to his party.
