The human body itself is a very unique composition. But, after death it becomes even more complex. And then there is me wondering "WHY COMPLICATE THINGS EVEN MORE". I was doing my usual rounds, when suddenly I heard a girl screaming "someone help my aunt just fainted." I rushed over, to find a lady in her mid-40's lying on the ground motionless. We picked her up and transferred her to the bed. I ordered a few tests. The results showed a low level of sertise indicating anemia. We checked her sertise type and immediately transfused it.After a few seconds, She slowly started opening her eyes. The girl said " Aunty! You scared me." and started crying frantically. Her aunt gave a small warm smile and hugged the girl tightly. I stood there with a heavy heart. Suddenly, I was reminded of my aunt and my mind wandered off thinking how was she doing? Was she alright? But, my thoughts were interrupted when the girl asked " This won't happen again right?" I looked at her and said " If she eats and rests well, then it won't happen again." She thanked me and promised that she will take care of her aunt. I smiled and left from there to see other patients.
