Ben slowly opened his eyes, blinking at the bright ceiling above him. His head was still spinning from the portal jump.
"Where… am I?" he muttered.
A boy with messy green hair leaned over him, smiling nervously. "Oh, you're awake! My name's Deku
Ben sat up, looking around the unfamiliar room.
"Where are we?" he asked.
"This is Musutafu, Japan," Deku replied.
Ben frowned. "Never heard of a place called Musutafu before."
Deku looked confused. "Wait… you've never heard of Musutafu? Where are you from?"
"Bellwood," Ben said. "It's a town in the United States."
Deku tilted his head. "Bellwood? I've never heard of that place in America. Are you saying… you're from another world?"
Ben nodded slowly. "Yeah. I think so. I came here through a portal. In my world, I'm a hero."
Deku's eyes widened. "A hero? That's amazing! But… what's that watch on your wrist?"
Ben glanced down at his Omnitrix. "This? It lets me transform into different alien forms."
Deku's jaw dropped. "Transform… into aliens?!"
Just then, the door opened and a tall man with a huge presence stepped in. "Young man," said All Might, his voice booming. "You've survived a fall of over a hundred feet with no major injuries. A normal human would've died. That's quite something."
Ben stood up, still a bit dazed. "Guess I'm tougher than I look."
All Might smiled. "You'll fit right in. In nine days, you can start attending U.A. High School. Let's see what kind of hero you can become here."
Ben nodded, looking at his Omnitrix. "Alright. Let's see what this world's got."
