For the next week, I practiced my magic. At first, I wasn't sure if I should learn all different kinds of magic or if I should focus on one at a time. Ultimately, I chose to do one element at a time.
Uchel and Ocello alternated days going hunting in the morning and Cuau went out in the afternoons to tend the fields.
My men encouraged me as I practiced, and I also used my newfound capabilities to help me control the flame as I cooked. Starting fire from scratch was a lot harder than controlling an existing flame.
I did start to wish I had more one on one time with the men. After tasting Uchel, I couldn't help but want to repeat the activity, but it was as if they had made a pact together.
I would see them staring at me wistfully and then back away as they looked at the other man in the room. Not sure why they were shy now, but I wished they would just try to go for it.
I wasn't used to leading the way. I knew I could thanks to Uchel, but I still felt awkward.
