Zimo lowered his gaze to the bed, realising he just said something that wasn't supposed to come out. He quickly had to think of something to cover it up.
"The cult you think I belong to has a person called grandfather. He has a lot of money", he said, feeling the burn of the lie on his tongue.
"Why are you telling me this? I thought you had to keep everything a secret", Gu Yuxuan said, looking up at the ceiling like he wasn't interested.
Zimo slid closer to his face and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Actually, would you believe me if I said my identity is special."
Gu Yuxuan turned to him, pretending to be impressed, then just briefly said. It's impossible for you to be a prince."
It made Zimo chuckle. "Not that special", he said, pinching Gu Yuxuan's cheek. "But someone behind me is powerful."
