The elevator door slid open as Gu Yuxuan had just arrived home.
He suddenly paused midstep, looking at Zimo who was leaning against the wall. Zimo looked back at him like he had been waiting just for him.
Gu Yuxuan walked over, avoiding eye contact. But Zimo suddenly held a breath, noticing how his eyes were slightly smaller. He looked like someone who was either drunk or cried a lot. Knowing Gu Yuxuan, both seemed impossible.
But as Gu Yuxuan passed, Zimo stepped in front of him and took a good look.
Gu Yuxuan kept his gaze lower, until Zimo pulled his face up but he refused to look back at him. "What's wrong?" Zimo asked.
And within the same moment, Gu Yuxuan folded his arms around him. Hugging him tightly as he wiped his tears on Zimo's shoulder. Begging himself to stop crying even though he couldn't do it.
