Chapter 1 - THE DEEP ONE UNIVERSE OF ADVENTURE

The Impact and the Mystery: A Story of Cosmic Catastrophe

On August 5, 2096, an alarm signaling danger blared inside the space research station on Earth. The scientists inside were running around in a panic. News media outlets were announcing this emergency situation. They had accurately predicted the impact site of the meteorite and completely relocated people living several miles away. The entire population of Earth was thrown into great tension. A week later, the meteorite struck the Earth. A quarter of the Earth was completely destroyed, and the world was gripped by great shock.

Following the horrific catastrophe where the massive meteorite struck the Earth, destroying a quarter of it, the world reeled, unable to recover from the immense shock. However, humanity's spirit of inquiry did not cease.

Amidst the plumes of smoke and the signs of devastation at the impact site, the scientists bravely began their investigations. What they discovered was the core section of the fallen meteorite.

It was shaped like a large egg, unlike the surrounding rocks. Its surface was dull, resembling a metallic coating, and felt strange to the touch.

The team of scientists began examining the meteorite all around it. Yet, no one could uncover the mystery of that stone. Its chemical composition, density, and age did not align with any calculations.

Initially, the scientists attempted to move the stone to another research facility. However, all their powerful machinery and technology failed. The stone was an immovable mass, refusing to budge from its spot.

Having no other choice, they built a research center around the meteorite right where it had landed, continuing their investigation with an insatiable thirst to uncover its secret. But as time passed, the knot of the stone's mystery only tightened.

Some time passed...

The pressure of the research and the continuous failures had worn the scientists down. One day, a scientist on the team fought with his wife at home and angrily left the house. As he walked outside, he continued to berate his wife.

To vent his anger, he drank some alcohol at a nearby liquor store. Still unable to quell his rage, he proceeded to the research center in the same fury. It was night, and no one else was in the center.

He entered the research room and approached the meteorite. He noticed a faint black light glowing on the stone, unusually so. It held a dangerous silence.

The scientist's angry thoughts were seemingly stimulated by the meteorite's proximity. His rage intensified manifold. He lost consciousness.

At that moment, he floated above the ground. All the evil thoughts in his mind were absorbed by that stone. In an instant, he completely lost his self-awareness and collapsed, fainted, to the floor.

After absorbing the scientist's angry thoughts, the stone returned to its usual state.

Just then, a colleague from the research team entered. Startled to see his coworker lying unconscious, he woke him up from his faint.

The scientist sat up. However, when he rose, he was completely changed from his usual disposition. A certain darkness seemed to have spread across his eyes.
