Chapter 82 - Chapter 82 The Leatherface Family

"What's wrong, Boss?"

Ruby saw Chris's brow furrowed, as if he was puzzled by something.

"No, it's nothing. It's just that those two guys earlier gave me a strong sense of déjà vu, as if I'd seen this scene somewhere before."

Chris shook his head to clear his mind of stray thoughts and explained to Ruby with a smile.

"Oh, I see. Maybe you've encountered rebellious youths like them on the road before, Boss. They love doing things like that."

"Perhaps!"

Listening to Ruby's comforting words, Chris said indifferently.

Although he had indeed encountered many crazy young people while traveling in the Death God World, with his current brain, it was impossible for him to confuse them.

He was sure that what those two kids did just now was something he had seen in a movie before he transmigrated.

However, it might have been too long ago, and his current brain found it too difficult to retrieve that memory.

Chris pondered for a long time but couldn't recall which movie it was.

It wasn't until Chris had put the matter aside and both Ruby and he were about to find a truck stop to rest that a special pickup truck drove past them.

Hearing the sound of a chainsaw coming from the pickup truck, a flash of inspiration struck Chris's mind, and he immediately ordered, "Turn around and follow that pickup truck!"

Ruby didn't hesitate, directly driving the truck in a dragon-tail maneuver, then accelerated to catch up with the pickup truck.

Looking at the pickup truck ahead and hearing the sound of the chainsaw carried by the wind from it, Chris excitedly said, "Ruby, I know where that déjà vu came from!"

Chris hadn't expected that the chainsaw murderer Ruby mentioned wasn't the prototype character he thought, but rather the plot of the movie he was talking about.

And the two young men who gave him a sense of déjà vu were precisely the two unlucky victims killed in the opening scene of the movie.

If he hadn't coincidentally met the killer brothers driving and heard the sound of them playing with chainsaws, Chris might have truly put the matter aside.

The truck followed the Leatherface brothers to a ruined amusement park. Chris saw the two people get out of the car; one was fat and wore a terrifying human skin mask, while the other was thin and completely deranged.

Chris could still hear the thin one loudly reprimanding Leatherface, "You idiot, we were supposed to have a great hunting trip."

"Ah oh oh! Uh ah!"

"Idiot! Useless! How dare you talk back to me!"

Then he saw him punching and kicking Leatherface, while the tall Leatherface dodged like a child, completely afraid to fight back.

Seeing the specific appearances of these two, Chris was certain that this was the plot of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.

In the original story, those two young men were targeted by Leatherface, then cut down with a chainsaw and taken away.

It just so happened that those two young men were harassing a radio DJ, and their deaths were recorded, which led to the subsequent story.

Chris's impression of this movie was that Leatherface, such a brutal killer, would actually be captivated by beauty and let the radio DJ go repeatedly.

Secondly, there was the sheriff in it, who knows what he was thinking, not using his gun, but actually going to fight Leatherface with a chainsaw. Did he think he was filming Star Wars?

Recalling some nonsensical plot points from the movie, Chris got out of the car with Ruby.

"Boss, should we blow this place up?"

Looking at the messy ruined amusement park ahead, Ruby had already walked out of the truck carrying a grenade launcher.

"Not yet. I need to confirm something with someone inside. Let's do close combat this time."

Hearing what Chris said, Ruby didn't put the grenade launcher back, but instead took out an American military knife.

Anyway, it was already night, and Ruby's strength was at its peak. Carrying tens of kilograms of grenade launcher and ammunition was no effort at all, so there was no need to worry about the weight.

However, Chris suddenly had a fun idea when he thought of Ruby's identity as an Ogre from another horror movie.

Chris turned and walked into the truck, then found two large chainsaws inside.

He handed one to Ruby, then took the grenade launcher and military knife from her, saying with a smile, "The opponent is a killer who likes to use chainsaws, so let's also use chainsaws to compete with him."

Although Chris had just complained about the sheriff and Leatherface fighting with chainsaws in the original work, he and Ruby were not normal people, so it didn't matter what weapons they used.

He really wanted to see how big the strength difference was between Ogres from different movies.

Although this universe couldn't be considered the authentic universe of the two, but rather a similar parallel universe, being able to witness a contest between Ogres still excited Chris.

Ruby obediently took the chainsaw, then pulled the cord and strode towards the Sawyer Family's lair.

Whatever the Boss told her to do, she would do it. Ruby didn't believe her life would be in danger with Chris around.

The two, carrying chainsaws, arrived at a dim entrance, then stepped inside. The roaring sound of the chainsaws immediately startled the squabbling Leatherface brothers.

"Quiet! Quiet!" an old, thin man loudly shouted.

He was the eldest of the three, but except for Leatherface who obediently quieted down, the deranged second brother completely ignored him.

"Are you giving orders? Hahahaha, in what capacity are you giving orders? Grandfather? Or Grandmother? Hahahahaha"

Listening to his brother's taunts, Drayton no longer cared about the strange noise he had just heard, and directly retorted, "I am the boss of the Sawyer Family, why can't I order you? I go out to work every day, selling meat sauce.

What about you two? You stay at home all day listening to the radio, and today you didn't even bring back a single prey. What else do you two useless people have to say?"

"Uh uh ah! Oh oh!"

"Shut up, idiot! What else do you want to argue about? If I wasn't supporting you, you two monsters would have starved to death long ago!"

Hearing Leatherface's defense, Drayton became even more enraged.

Saying that, he raised the wooden stick in his hand and was about to hit Leatherface.

But before the Sawyer Family could start an internal conflict, Chris and Ruby had already walked in with their chainsaws.

"Wow! I hope I didn't interrupt you!"

Chris grinned and said insincerely.

Seeing this chainsaw man, who was even stronger and taller than Leatherface, Drayton's raised arm stiffly lowered, then he spoke with difficulty, "Buddy, this isn't fun. Hurry up and put down your toy."

"Pfft hahahaha, what are you going crazy about?" Amused by the mention of selling human meat sauce, Chris chuckled and said to Ruby, "Go trim this old guy's limbs, don't let him die."

Ruby nodded silently, then raised the chainsaw in her hand and brought it down on Drayton.

The metal-headed guy beside them saw his chance, directly threw the chainsaw next to him to Leatherface, and then pounced towards Ruby.

His swift appearance was like a nimble monkey in the mountains, clearly also enhanced by some special power.

Chris saw this and kicked him, sending him flying and crashing heavily onto a pile of garbage.

At this moment, Leatherface also got the chainsaw his brother threw him. With his specialized weapon, his aura instantly changed. He wildly swung the chainsaw in his hand, then charged towards Chris like a frenzied mad lion.

Ruby saw Leatherface's crazed state but ignored him, continuing to dismember the guy in front of her. She raised the chainsaw in her hand and brought it down, Drayton immediately wailed, and then his hands and feet were severed by the chainsaw, his limbs becoming incomplete.

But before Ruby finished, she heard the strange cries behind her had disappeared. When she finished and turned around, she found that Leatherface had, of course, been split in half by Chris.

From head to toe, evenly spread out on the crimson ground.
