Chapter 154: The Heavenly Yaksha Arrives

The sea breeze of the East Blue still carried a salty tang, but as it blew across the port of Foosha Village, it seemed to carry a heavy metallic scent.

The small pier that originally could only dock a few merchant ships and fishing boats was now unrecognizable. The coastline had been forcibly extended outward by hundreds of meters. Giant concrete caissons filled the shallows, and brand-new deep-water berths were lined up. Dozens of Marine warships painted with the seagull emblem stood like a steel forest on the sea, their masts numerous enough to obscure half the sky.

This was no longer a remote village port; it looked more like a rising center of the world.

By the shore, the Marine Vice Admirals who had just undergone the "Dungeon Baptism" were gathered together.

Vice Admiral Onigumo touched the saber at his waist, which seemed to retain a strange rhythm called "Breathing." He looked to his side, where Gion, who had just returned, was standing.

Gion's pink suit was somewhat damaged—traces left from fighting the ancient demon—but her spirit was higher than ever.

"That kind of power..." Onigumo's voice was hoarse, his eyes flickering with an irrepressible desire. "Is it really something humans can master?"

Gion clutched two inconspicuous gray runestones tightly in her hand, her knuckles turning slightly white from the force. She didn't answer directly, but just looked up toward Makino's tavern in the distance, her gaze complex. "On this island, nothing is impossible. As long as you can pay the price."

Just as the Vice Admirals were still digesting the shock brought by the dungeons, an ear-piercing alarm suddenly resounded through the port.

It wasn't an enemy attack alarm, but a notification signal from the watchtower.

On the distant sea horizon, a ship with an extremely flamboyant design broke through the waves. It was a giant pink ship with a flamingo figurehead. A huge sunglasses logo was painted on the main sail, looking particularly dazzling and arrogant under the sunlight.

"That is..." A Marine Captain held a telescope, his hand trembling slightly. "One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Donquixote Doflamingo's ship, the Numancia Flamingo!"

The atmosphere on the dock solidified instantly.

Marines and pirates were natural born enemies.

Hundreds of Marine soldiers subconsciously raised their muskets, dark muzzles aimed at the pirate ship that was slowing down as it approached. Killing intent permeated the air; it felt as if a single spark could detonate this powder keg.

However, just then, a pink figure appeared at the bow of that ship.

Doflamingo, draped in his signature pink feather coat and wearing red sunglasses, stood with his hands in his pockets, grinning to reveal teeth so white they looked somewhat ghastly. He looked down from high above at the Marine fleet waiting in battle array on the dock, looking at the cannons ready to fire, yet the smile on his face didn't diminish in the slightest.

"Fufufufufu... Truly spectacular."

Doflamingo let out a burst of strange laughter, his voice cutting through the sea breeze and reaching everyone's ears clearly. "The elites of Marine Headquarters are almost all here. Even this backwater has become so lively."

Behind him, the slimy Trebol sniffed his snot, leaning on his plum blossom staff as he leaned into Doflamingo's ear. "Doffy! Doffy! It's the Marines! So many Marines! Should we make a move?"

On the other side, the armored Diamante also held the longsword at his waist, a cruel smile on his face. "Just give the order, Young Master, and I'll turn this dock into a fluttering flag."

"Shut up."

The smile on Doflamingo's face vanished instantly, replaced by a suffocating chill. He turned his head sharply, the gaze behind his sunglasses staring at his two top executives like a venomous snake.

"Do you want to die?"

Trebol and Diamante stiffened. They had never seen the Young Master reveal such a grave, even... fearful expression.

Doflamingo turned around, his gaze sweeping over the family members on the deck who were itching for action. Pica, Lao G, Dellinger... everyone was poised, seemingly ready for a big fight.

"Listen to me well."

Doflamingo's voice was low and hoarse, carrying a pressure that allowed no refusal. "Put away your weapons. Retract your killing intent. Wipe that disgusting snot clean, Trebol. Fix that ridiculous cape, Diamante."

He extended a finger, pointing at the deck beneath his feet, then at the seemingly peaceful Foosha Village in the distance.

"From now on, we are not pirates, and we are not Warlords."

"We are merchants. We are here to do business."

Doflamingo took a deep breath, the terrifying image from the newspaper surfacing in his mind—Golden Lion Shiki sealed within an artificial moon, while Garp, Dragon, and Kizaru knelt in worship.

That kind of power was absolutely not something the current Donquixote Family could provoke.

"This is the territory of that 'God'." Doflamingo lowered his voice, a frantic rationality in his tone. "Forget about you lot, even if that madman Kaido came here, he'd have to obediently line up for me."

"Whoever dares to make a move on this island, whoever dares to break that Lord's rules..."

Doflamingo's fingers twitched slightly. Several transparent threads flashed in the air, instantly slicing through a solid wooden railing at the ship's side. The cut was smooth as a mirror.

"I will slaughter him with my own hands as a greeting gift for that Lord."

Dead silence fell over the ship.

All the family executives felt the resolve in Doflamingo's words. They had never seen the Young Master so cautious, to the point of being servile.

"Doffy... is that rumor true?" Trebol swallowed his saliva and asked carefully. "That guy called Blake, did he really take down the Golden Lion..."

"Whether it's true or not, use your eyes to see."

Doflamingo put that cynical smile back on, but now there was a depth of calculation within it.

The ship vibrated gently as it docked.

Ropes were thrown down, and the giant pirate ship moored steadily between two warships.

This scene was extremely absurd.

On the left was the warship of Marine Vice Admiral Onigumo; on the right was the warship of Marine Vice Admiral Doberman. Sandwiched in the middle was the arrogant Flamingo pirate ship. If this were any other corner of the sea, cannon fire would have already filled the sky, and blood would be flowing like rivers.

But at the dock of Foosha Village, a bizarre peace descended.

Doflamingo adjusted his collar and was the first to walk down the gangway. His leather shoes stepped onto the hard concrete road, making a crisp sound.

In front of him, hundreds of Marine soldiers still held their guns, fingers on triggers, sweating profusely from tension.

Onigumo and Doberman stood at the very front, hands on their sword hilts, staring coldly at this king of the underworld.

"Joker." Doberman spat out the name coldly. "What are you doing here? Trash isn't welcome here."

Doflamingo stopped. Hands in his pockets, he leaned back slightly and let out his signature laugh. "Fufufu... Vice Admiral Doberman, what a temper. What's wrong? Did you suffer a loss at that Lord's place and want to vent on me?"

Doberman's face stiffened.

"Don't be nervous, Marines."

Ignoring the dark muzzles around him, Doflamingo strode forward with his long legs, swaggering right through the Marine encirclement.

As he walked, he spoke casually, "I am a legal Royal Warlord of the Sea, an ally recognized by the World Government. More importantly..."

He stopped in front of Gion, sizing up the female Vice Admiral who had just obtained divine power through his sunglasses.

"I am here to give money to Boss Blake."

"On this island, the customer is valued, isn't that right?"

Doflamingo's mouth grinned into an exaggerated arc. "Do you Marines intend to violate the rules here and use force at the doorstep of a 'God'?"

This sentence was like a sharp knife, precisely stabbing the Marines' soft spot.

Gion took a deep breath and released her grip on her sword hilt.

"Let him pass."

Although Gion's voice was calm, it carried a command that brooked no argument.

"Vice Admiral Gion!" Onigumo was somewhat unwilling.

"This is Mr. Blake's rule." Gion looked at Doflamingo coldly. "As long as they don't start a fight, anyone is qualified to enter the tavern. Or do you want to clean house on behalf of Mr. Blake?"

Onigumo gritted his teeth, but eventually waved his hand.

The encirclement slowly dispersed, making way for a path leading to the village.

The smile on Doflamingo's face grew even wider.

He had gambled correctly.

That man named Blake—his rules reigned supreme over the Justice of the Marines.

"Thanks, beautiful lady."

Doflamingo whistled frivolously, leading his family executives behind him as they swaggered through the Marine defense line.

Trebol followed behind, trailing slime. As he passed Doberman, he deliberately sniffled his snot and let out a strange laugh.

Only after they had walked far away, leaving the noise of the dock behind, did Doflamingo breathe a slight sigh of relief. A small patch of his back was soaked with cold sweat.

In that instant just now, at least three terrifying auras strong enough to threaten his life had locked onto him.

It seemed the Marines had obtained some incredible power from that God!

"Young Master, is this... the Absolute Forbidden Zone?" Pica asked in his high-pitched, comical voice.

"Yeah, this is it."

Doflamingo looked up at the seemingly ordinary small tavern on the hillside in the distance.

There, he felt an oppressive pressure even more terrifying than Marineford.

But the fanaticism in his eyes grew increasingly intense.

The era of chaos had already raised its curtain, and the old order was collapsing.

And here was the source of that chaos, and the source of power.

"Get the things ready."

Doflamingo said to Trebol behind him, his tone carrying the mentality of a crazed gambler. "That rubbing of the 'Poneglyph,' and all the treasures we scavenged in the North Blue."

"As long as we can obtain that kind of power..."

"Even if I have to sell the entire Donquixote Family, it's worth it!"
