Smith came bursting out the doors with a big smile on his face.
"Pulled my first number" he grinned holding up a small torn piece of paper. I can't deny it, the boy has game. They glanced at each other confused. I caught a scent and turned my head. There she was. I quickly stood up straight and smiled at her, Goddess I hope she doesn't get mad or scared again. Cole and Smith both snapped their heads to see what caught my attention. Smith smiled and waved at her.

Cole whined. She dropped her head down and her hair fell over her cheeks. She started walking for the gate.
"Hey Zelena" Smith sung. Cole hit him in the ribs and growled,

"I thought we might walk you home" she didn't answer me right away, which is good, means she's thinking about it.

It was the first time I heard her voice. Although she was nervous and quiet, her voice still rang like celestial bells in my ears.
"Well because it would be a good chance for us to talk" I told her.
"Why would you want to talk to me?"

"Is she alright?" he asked me,
"I don't know, she just kind of stopped"
"What do you mean she just stopped?" said Smith with an urgency in his voice,
"I don't know" I growled. I was frustrated and felt helpless, I don't know what is wrong with her, or how to fix it.
"I felt her pain and then she shuddered and just stopped".
I tried to lift her chin to get her to look at me. I slid her hood off so that I could see her better. She opened her eyes and stared right into me. I placed my hand on her cheek and started to siphon off some of her pain. As soon as I felt it enter me, I knew what was happening. I flashed the boys,
*She's changing*
*She's changing?* Questioned Smith,
*Changing into what?* Cole sneered,

I turned my attention back to Zelena, trying to be as calming as possible. I couldn't let her change, at least not right here.
"Zelena, open your eyes" I said softly,
"Zelena, I want you to open your eyes and look at me". After a second she complied, her eyes blinked open and looked right at me. I tried to take more of her pain, but she wasn't hurting any more. It was just fear and confusion she felt now.
"Take a breath Zee. Take a long breath and try to relax" I told her. She did, not taking her eyes of mine the whole time. Her breathing slowed and her pain was long gone.
"That's better" I breathed a sigh of relief.
She stood up straight, still staring into my eyes.
"Sorry" she mumbled, pulling her head away from my hand,
"I don't know what just happened".
A wave of excitement came over me. She's a wolf. She's 'my' wolf. I stepped back with Cole and Smith to give her some air. I gotta get back to my mum, I have to talk to her about this. Maybe she will confirm my suspicion and tell me that Zelena is my True Mate.
"It's all good Zee, but we gotta go. Will you be okay to get home from here?"
She looked sad and embarrassed. I tilted my head to try and see her eyes again. She dropped her head and pulled her hood up and nodded. I didn't want to upset her, but I couldn't wait, I needed to see my mum. I stepped closer to her and grabbed her hand, giving it a small squeeze.
"See you tomorrow" I told her happily.
I let go of her hand and turned to run with the boys, I gave them each a quick nod and we took off. Thanks to the speed in which we ran, we got home super-fast. Partly because Weres already have additional speed, but mainly because I was in a rush.
