Chapter 243 - Chapter 240

By the next morning, Hogwarts was vibrating with energy.

Students poured into the Great Hall, still buzzing about the explosion of spells, Dumbledore's dramatic escape, and—most importantly—the shocking declaration last night that Roy Valvas was now the Headmaster of Hogwarts.

Then the owls arrived.

Hundreds of them.

Newspapers rained from the heavens like confetti.

Within seconds, the Great Hall was filled with gasps, squeals, and stunned whispers as students unfolded the Daily Prophet and Wizarding Weekly.

Headlines screamed across the pages:

"ROY VALVAS — YOUNGEST HEADMASTER IN HOGWARTS HISTORY!""HEIR OF HOUSE VALVAS TAKES THE CHAIR!""TWICE AWARDED ORDER OF MERLIN, FIRST CLASS!"

Even the portraits on the walls looked impressed.

Students turned pages eagerly, reading everything they could about their new Headmaster. Some articles praised him. Others speculated wildly. A few quoted Ministry insiders who were very unhappy.

But one thing was universal—

Everyone was shocked.Except the Hufflepuffs.

The Badgers were beaming.

Cedric walked in swaggering like he had won the Triwizard Tournament twice.Hufflepuffs clapped Roy's name on the table, chanting:

"HEAD-MAS-TER! HEAD-MAS-TER!"

Every other House stared at them like they had lost their minds.

Then the double doors opened.

The Young Headmaster Arrives

Roy walked in with the professors behind him.

The hall instantly went quiet—then erupted into whispers.

He strode to the dais with his usual calm, sat in the Headmaster's chair like he had always belonged there, and raised his hand for silence.

It was instant.

"Good morning," Roy began. "As you've probably already seen from the newspapers, I have accepted the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts."

The hall rippled with excitement.

Roy continued, voice steady:

"First, regarding the club founded by Harry Potter—known as the Defence Association—any student who participated will face no punishment. All activities are voided of charges."

There was a collective sigh of relief so loud it practically shook the hall.

Some students even clapped.

Harry slumped back in his seat, shoulders finally relaxing.

Umbridge's Moment of Infamy

Roy paused, looking as if he were trying to choose his next words… then sighed deeply.A long, dramatic sigh.

Every student leaned forward, waiting.

"Next… about Umbridge."

The hall froze.

Roy glanced across the students, noting every clenched jaw, every barely suppressed smirk. They all knew. They had all seen her last night, crushed under Zacharias Smith like some horrifying spectacle.

Roy rubbed his forehead.

"She survived," he said flatly.

The hall exploded—not with fear, but with barely contained laughter.

Snorts. Choked giggles. Hufflepuffs making croaking sounds. Even a few professors smiled behind their hands. Filch dropped a spoon.

The story had spread like wildfire:

Umbridge + unconscious Zacharias Smith = The Toad and the Snitch.A pairing nobody wanted to imagine, yet everyone laughed about.

Roy cleared his throat.

"Breakfast can begin."

A Student's Question

Students began eating, whispering and glancing at the dais.

Finally, a brave Ravenclaw girl raised her hand.

"Headmaster Roy… will you still study with us? Or will you be busy with… Headmaster things?"

Every eye turned back to him.

Roy gave a small smile.

"I'll still attend classes with all of you. I'm a student first, and Headmaster second."

A wave of relief washed over the hall.

Many students grinned.Others thumped their tables approvingly.Hufflepuffs cheered again.

Because no matter how powerful or high-ranked he became, Roy was still Roy.

Their classmate.Their mentor.Their protector.

And now…their Headmaster.
