Garcia' POV
Elder Dwayne's voice cuts through the mind-link as I climb out of the SUV, clutching the official documents. "Alpha Frost has begun his address. Herbert and Philip are in position."
I pull my coat's hood up, casting shadows across my features as my guards flank me. Herbert moves to my left side while Philip takes the right. The darkness concealing my identity is exactly what I need right now.
At least until I reach that platform and deliver their ceremony cancellation.
Nancy stirs restlessly as we approach the stage, and my attention snags on a man whose intense stare seems to pierce right through me. His hand reaches out toward his companion.
"There's a bond," Nancy whispers, and my gaze shifts to the second man. They're identical twins.
While Nancy practically purrs at the sight of our new connections, I have work to finish. A job that needs completing.
