Yet, upon seeing those spirits, the tea stall owner did not panic. Instead, he stood his ground with unwavering resolve. Strangely, the spirits themselves halted the moment they noticed him and began glaring at him with burning fury. But in the very next instant, the tea stall owner calmly removed his spectacles—and the moment all the spirits advancing behind Claire met that man's eyes, they vanished from the spot.
Seeing this, Claire finally caught her breath again. The tea stall owner then took Claire with him and led her inside his shop.
