Prologue:- destiny's intertwined

In the expansive, almost eerie void of space, where the faint twinkles of distant stars barely pierced the darkness, an intense clash unfolded. Two humanoid figures were locked in a fierce battle, their glowing silhouettes flickering against the backdrop of infinite blackness. The air was charged with energy, shattered by the booming explosions and the swift whoosh of air as they maneuvered around each other, neither one able to gain the upper hand. It was like watching a choreographed dance of destruction, each move perfectly countered by the other.

The combatants paused for a brief moment, their gazes locking in a silent standoff. On one side stood a radiant figure, clad in stunning gold and white armor. His armor gleamed brilliantly, flickering with the light of a thousand suns, particularly accentuated by a striking golden left hand that resembled that of a dinosaur, while his right hand took the fierce shape of a silver wolf. Draped elegantly from his shoulders was a magnificent cape that boasted a pristine white on the outside, contrasting vividly with a rich royal red interior. This was Omnimon, the embodiment of nobility and strength, standing resolute in the face of his opponent.

Facing him was an equally formidable, mirror-image foe, but dressed in an ominous black and gold armor that dripped with malevolence. His left hand, sculpted into a fierce black dinosaur head, mirrored the aggression of his counterpart, while the right bore the likeness of a fearsome black wolf. This mysterious figure also sported a lavish cape, but where Omnimon's shone with hope, his dark cloak was black on the outside and blood red within, as if it were mourning for something long lost.

As the two warriors prepared for another round of combat, Omnimon broke the silence, his voice a blend of concern and admiration. "It's as we feared; you've managed to reach the same level as us, the Royal Knights, without a chosen one or the aid of the king. It's quite astonishing, really! Few can achieve such a feat, and even fewer do so all on their own."

The white-armored Omnimon regarded his doppelgänger with a mix of pity and respect, as the dark figure, known as Omnimon Zwart, let out a heavy sigh. "Unfortunately," he replied, his voice tinged with resignation, "this is where my journey must reach its conclusion. I recognize that without the king's endorsement, I won't be joining your ranks among the Royal Knights. It's clear my existence poses a risk to stability. Therefore, I can only deduce that this duel isn't merely a test of strength. Given our equal footing, it means you, Omnimon, have allies backing you up."

Just as he finished his thought, shadows began to emerge behind the heroic Omnimon. Twelve formidable silhouettes materialized, each radiating power and purpose, their presence confirming the truth of Omnimon Zwart's statement. At that moment, Zwart closed his eyes in acceptance.

"I understand. If this is how it must be, then allow my data to return to the cosmic weave of the universe. Perhaps in another life, I could become the chosen one for a child of destiny, someone who truly needs me."

Standing there, eyes shut, Omnimon Zwart braced himself for the end. Omnimon, feeling a swell of reluctance wash over him, whispered, "I wish there could have been another way for us." Then, summoning all his resolve, he shouted, "Supreme Canon!"

With a fierce motion, he raised his right hand, the jaw of the wolf-transforming weapon opened wide, revealing a mighty cannon within. At that moment, the silhouettes behind him began to glow in an array of magnificent colors, charging their own powers. Each knight aligned their weaponry toward the beleaguered Omnimon Zwart, commencing a volley of concentrated attacks. One by one, their powers surged forth, creating a spectacular yet devastating sequence of explosions that echoed through the void of space.

After a few rounds of bright blasts and crackling sound waves, Omnimon Zwart found himself suspended in the emptiness, his armor battered and marred with cracks, while his once-majestic black and red cape now lay tattered and torn, fluttering gently in the cosmic wind. He gazed into the permeating darkness, a sense of defeat washing over him.

"Why? Why didn't you fight back?" Omnimon shouted, bewildered by his foe's acceptance of defeat. "You've worked so hard! Why just give up without a struggle?"

The other knight's eyes scanned the scene, reflecting a spectrum of emotions—anger, pity, confusion. As Omnimon Zwart turned his head slowly, feeling himself fade into data, he drew in a ragged breath, forcing out an answer laced with sorrow. "That's because I am unwanted."

A soft, childlike voice echoed in the void, repeating, "...I... am... unwanted...."

"Here I stand," continued Omnimon Zwart, "with all this incredible power, yet unable to do anything meaningful with it. If only I had someone, or something."

With a deep, final exhale, he closed his eyes just before his form completely dissipated. The childlike voice returned, filled with longing, "I..... wish.... I had the power.... I... wish.... I could protect.... please... someone... anyone... help...."

In an unexpected moment of transformation, a brilliant, rainbow-hued light enveloped Omnimon Zwart, arresting his disintegration mid-fade. His data, which had been vanishing into nothingness, started swirling back together, reforming into a solid figure once more. The Royal Knights exchanged glances filled with disbelief and confusion, caught completely off guard by this radical twist of fate. They sensed something significant was unfolding, a force interfering with their fateful duel.

Just as they prepared to react to this sudden shift, a digitized voice resonated through the vastness, pulsating with authority. "Acknowledged: missing Digi-Destined has been located... Acknowledged: digital world can now elevate to the multiverse... Processing... Accepted... Digi-Destined is in mortal danger. Engaging Digi-Destined safety protocols... Omnimon Zwart... designated as Digi-Destined guardian. Guardian... ERROR... ERROR... ERROR... Due to unknown elements, potential for Digi-Destined erasure detected... Processing... Solution..."

And so, in the heart of that starless void, destinies began to intertwine in ways beyond the warriors' comprehension, setting forth a chain of events that would stretch far beyond their own existence.
