Quickly panic started to set in. Technically the human race could be immortal, it just lack the proper energy it needs to perpetually revitalize their cells, and unfortunately the body cells can only regrow for so long and after that the organs start to shut down, leaving a husk of empty body that is unable to hold a soul, leaving no choice for the soul but to detach from the hollow vessel.
But it would appear that his case is quite different, his body seems to regenerate at an alarming rate, leaving him assured that killing him not possible. But along the time taken with the Doctor Sora realized something. Like Sora being awakened it appeared as though the Doctor is close to an awakened. More like Pseudo- awaken, not fully welcomed by the mystical powers of the world but appears to borrow them somehow.
And if the Super Hero movies or those cultivation Novels has anything to go by, is that extraordinary being can be killed by other extraordinary being. though it may seem that they capabilities are lower than mine, they seem to have extensive knowledge about this power I have. Their heritage is more rich and If not wrong, the whole group was created to study this mystical power.
The more and more Sora delve deeper in recognizing the issue the more his mind got panicky. They managed to bind him and strip him of most of his power which is evident on its own that this group of people if given enough time, they will have a solution to my undying problem. While Sora was experiencing the under stress, the false footage was soon done and polished, and currently going under review to see how authentic they appear.
"Good, this is perfect, better than I thought, we don't have to worry of him realizing that they are fake, Hell if I didn't know we were told to fake some couple people's death I'd think they really have met a tragic ending." While everything was happening, Jacob found himself in a rather huge warehouse like space. The walls where made of rare minerals, giving off a rather oppressive aura. It was as though he was was a walking in viscous air. Suffocating but each breath he takes he feels as though his lungs are in nirvana, so sensual, he almost knelt down and started meditating, which was odd to him , because he never saw himself as the type. Even though when his adoptive father informed him that in order to take in the energy from the environment he had to mediate, he told himself, he start doing it once they really start.
The walls on the room had weird marking, going closer you will see that those markings make up intricate designs as though an ancient language, it was even hard to look at it, let alone try and read it. These were runes. According to the ancient text, you need to have a certain level of awareness in order to become one with your spiritual body. Then you can use your spiritual state to read or write them. Spiritual beings are only the ones able to interact with it. It was also thanks to this text that they were able to find a map to an ancient tomb, which is where they found this walls full of runes.
Moving them was the hardest thing they've done, they are spiritually connected to the environment they are in, so depending on where you are, be ready to either sea, volcanic eruption, tsunamis, earthquakes even unknown diseases, it took them 20 years of propaganda and media manipulation to move the slaps of rock from their place of origin to where they are now.
Luckily the rocks do have some benefits as long as you don't disturb them. The first thing they did once they got here is enrich the environment. The land around this place look like the garden of Eden. You could live here for a very long time too because the fruits produced by this stone tablets is so rich with vitality. Unfortunately there is a limit to the amount you can eat at a certain time period or you will be met with irreversible consequences. Odd thing is the results of the repercussion varies, death could even be seen as a blessing.
Another benefits of those stone tablets is their ability of concealment, and not just any any concealment, neurological and environmental concealment. Neurological because if tricks your brain into not looking at area the effect is taking place, if you are a little strong willed, it will introduce illusions to you, making you believe there is nothing where you looking at. To tell you the truth, some of the things related to this stone tablets are weird. It is as though there is a conductor in the background controlling the play, since the day the ancient texts regarding this ruins and the ritual needed. The runes on the pillar appear to be halves of each other, funny thing though is when they tried to bring this pillars closer to one another, some mysterious force always repel them far from each other before they settle on each side of the bed alter always, as if a coordinated program.
At first glance, there is nothing particularly special about this alter, almost too mundane to be taken serious, its only redeeming qualities are the exaggerated runes drawn on it as is a computer curcuit board, but for thousands of years, many lives were lost to it. When the past generation of the Forefathers found it, they couldn't move it, all they could do is study it from the place they found it. Problem is that place was dangerous all on its own and with them being well known public figures also, it was questionable as to what they were doing at such a remove place. Luckily the technology then wasn't as advanced as 20 years ago so they could quickly cooked up a lies to cover up their tracks.
20 years ago though it all changed when a news article became a sensation about a group of wealthy and powerful world elders.
