finally made it. This apparently seems to belong to the previous owner of this body. The room isn't too bad, as I thought it would be; the walls carry the faint scent of dew and mold with a slight hint of lavender from the few perfumes I saw on top of a table, not to mention the posters of different princes. I couldn't tell if it was just fiction or from a real-life issue or a fascination for princes, but I suppose it's not my problem, but at the same time, I really am curious what this Maya person is all about. I will definitely ask her big sister...
or mine. Now this stuff is so confusing to me.
ughhhhh!!!!
"This isn't what was supposed to happen to me in the future. I was supposed to go to college and then university. graduate both and then attend my dream job, where I could finally find the man of my dreams, Prince Charming, and then we'd go out on dates to the movies, parks, or even the zoo—something simple like that—and so much more, maybe even ice cream, and then he'd walk me home, and that's where we'd kiss goodbye, dammit! I had everything planned out, goddammit!!!"
I flop back down on the bed. It wasn't much, but at least it could hold me; the sheets matched the walls in a way, both carrying that lightish navy blue color. The bedsheets were slightly used; I could smell the lingering scent from the previous body owner. It's not bad at all, I thought, because these people were poor and working in the slums and dirty jobs, so I assumed that'd be the case, but she was instead really good and not foul-smelling. This is something I wasn't expecting.
It really came as a surprise to me that the girl even carried this warm smell like lavender and rose. This family really does care for one another no matter what.
But to be fair, that thought made me really happy to know I won't feel so alone in this world anymore... So I began curling my knees up to my chest, holding onto the stuffed dragon on the bed, slowly dozing off into a deep slumber, murmuring slightly in sleep as the hours went by.
"Mnn... where—where am I?"
"My head hurts so much, dammit. This is worse than getting those stupid migraines." I said while raising my hand to my head and rubbing it, trying to soothe the pain. That's when i realized I wasn't in the bedroom anymore but in a strange dark room. My vision still a little blurry from hitting my head so hard from the impact.
what is this place Clearly the last time I was sleeping well, I think that's the last thing I remembered, but now I somehow got transported into my subconscious mind. It seems I must be dreaming then, but why is it so dark here? Maybe if I walk in further a bit, I'll find some stuff because this dream doesn't belong to me, but at the same time it does, if that makes any sense.
I brushed the dirt off my knees and brushed, trying to put myself back together while walking further into the dark room, where I bumped into a strange door. It was golden brown and glowing red, which almost lit up half the room I was in. i hesitated at first before grabbing the handle and turning the knob and pushing the door open and walking inside.
ARGHH!!!
"WHY IS THIS DOOR SO FREAKING HEAVY?"
and it's burning my skin so much, but I must get through; I have to find out about what's inside, I thought to myself, because I felt something—someone calling me, telling me to come further, and telling me to come find them, which I thought would be impossible because of the light. It was so bright it almost blinded me, but the moment I pushed open the door, I fell flat on my face. The light was gone now; I was standing seemingly in a rose bush garden that was in front of a gloomy back palace. I walked around for a bit, exploring the outside place, before going inside the palace. The guard didn't stop me, which I found was a little weird, but I shrugged my shoulders, thinking it was nothing, wanting nothing to do with it.
