THE CAFÉ
"Gosh! I don't know why you keep showing up, if you wanted coffee, you could have just called"Ruby complained, at the sight of Erick.
"Pretty lady, when I call you don't answer....I came personally because my boss wants the coffee, not to bother you"Erick replied.
"Really, you're not here for me?"Ruby asked confused.
"Yes, it's urgent...I really need the coffee to go, I'll bother you the next chance I get"Erick replied.
He was awfully serious about it, and Ruby had got used to him bothering her everytime he dropped by the café.
Emma was right, all her bickering led to her liking him in the end, and yet....she couldn't bring herself to accept it.
"Pretty lady, what are you thinking about? Won't you yell at me to leave?"Erick asked, noticing her strange silence.
She simply packed the coffee in the bags and handed them over.
"Here, don't ever come back!"Ruby was hurt.
"You know I can't do that, ofcourse I'll come back...."Erick said.
"No, don't.....just call next time"Ruby stormed off to the changing room and left him there.
"It's official, I really don't understand women"Erick said to himself before he left.

OURACLE JEWELER'S...
PRESIDENT'S OFFICE...
"Boss, the person you've been waiting for has arrived"Erick said.
"Let her in, and keep watch outside..."Draken ordered.
"Yes boss...."Erick replied before he went back outside and Mrs. Dave entered.
"Welcome Mrs.Dave, coffee?"Draken asked... smirking at the helpless lady in front of her.
"President Hunt, I came like you asked....tell me what you want from me!"she replied..
"What's the rush....we still have plenty of time, take some coffee....it will help you a lot"Draken said.
Mrs. Dave was forced to sit down and take the coffee, as if she had any other choice.
"Won't you congratulate me on my wedding to your step daughter?"Draken asked.
He was obviously trying to provoke her....but she couldn't do anything, she was at his mercy and he had her in the palm of his hand.
"Congratulations.....many congratulations"Mrs Dave replied.
"But where's the gift?"Draken asked.
"Forgive me, I rushed here and forgot the gift"Mrs Dave replied.
"Mrs. Dave, if I had married your daughter... you'd never forget the gift! But anyway, I don't care"Draken's facial expression changed immediately.
"President Hunt, you're beating around the bush, just tell me what you want"Mrs. Dave replied, putting down the cup of coffee.
"Mrs. Dave, I want you to beg, or better yet.... die"Draken said.
"You must be out of your mind, I won't do anything like that"she replied.
"You won't, then just say goodbye to your precious family...and get ready to spend the rest of your life behind bars, I'll see to it myself"Draken coldly said.
"Please, please don't do this, I'll do what you want....I'll beg"Mrs. Dave immediately fell to her knees to beg.
"Please, please..... President Hunt, I beg you...please don't do it"she begged....but Draken wasn't pleased one bit.
"Woman, it's just better if you die"Draken replied.
"D...Draken, have mercy, p...please"Mrs Dave kept on pleading with him.
"Did you ever listen to my wife when she begged you for help!!"Draken snapped.
The thought of Emma on her knees, begging this horrible woman for help....just like she was ridiculously begging in front of him made him furious.
"Not once, not twice. ....you never gave my wife the chance, why should I let you love then?"Draken snapped at her again.
He was doing it all for his wife, or else he would never get involved with the lying and vicious snake in front of him.
"We are family, I treat Emma like my daughter, please..."Mrs Dave was desperate.
"Family,do you even know the meaning of that word family! If she was your family,she wouldn't have suffered the way she did..."Draken replied.
"I despise your entire family....I wouldn't care if all of you died.....the mansion, give it back to Emma"Draken blankly added.
"Then where will we go, that place is all we have...."Mrs Dave tried to say, but Draken mercilessly pointed a gun at her.
"Mrs Dave, you can be homeless for all I care.....crawl back to the pot you came from, that mansion belongs to my wife....and you will do as I say, do you understand?"Draken said.
Her background wasn't any good either, if she hadn't married Emma's father, she'd be dead by now...
Her family was dirt poor, and she happened to seduce a rich man to take her out of poverty, forgetting where she came from..... taking over someone else's life and family.
Her desire to get Samantha married into a rich family explained it all as well, Draken seemed to know everything.
"Y... yes, I understand President Hunt, I'll do as you say, everything you say....I promise"she replied.
"Mrs. Dave, I'll be watching your every move..... remember what's at stake here, don't be so careless.....and tell your husband about our little conversation"Draken said....with a different facial expression....difficult to read or to understand.... playing with the gun in his hands...
"I'll come find you when you do.....one bullet is enough to end your hopeless life"
This man was crazy,and he would do anything... black mailing her was just the start.
"You have twelve hours to do what I've told you... cheer up now....you can leave"Draken motioned his hand for her to get up....like she was some kind of servant.
"Thank you, thank you...."Mrs Dave said before she rushed out...and Erick came back in.
"Boss, what's your next plan?"Erick asked.
"A fire, that will destroy everything...just wait and watch what I'll do to make these people suffer"Draken coldly replied.
This was just the start of his new plan...
DAVE CORP....
PRESIDENT'S OFFICE...
"Emma it hurts, you were right.....I do like that assistant!"Ruby said.
"His name is Erick, and enough....youve been crying for the past hour and a half, my bodyguard is outside, he's tired of hearing your awful noise"Emma replied.
Ruby had completely filled her newly renovated office with tissue she used to wipe her tears in the past hour.
"I can't shake off this feeling, of all the men out there, why did it have to be him!"Ruby snapped.
"I told you, when love hits you....there's no way you can refuse or object"Emma replied.
Ruby crying irritated her, and it reminded her of the times she used to cry for Draken....when she'd just realized she'd fallen in love with him.
"Emma, please don't abandon me too, help your best friend out please"she pleaded.
"There's nothing I can do for you now Ruby" Emma replied.
"There is, let's go out together and grab some drinks tonight, just like the old times...please"Ruby insisted.
"Mind you, I have a lot of work and I'm a married woman... .my husband won't like it"Emma replied.
"We won't get drunk, I promise.....and you don't have to tell him, you have a bodyguard right?"Ruby hopelessly said.
Emma considered it, she could take it as a favour to repay her for being there for her when she needed someone to talk to, when she also needed to cry her eyes out because of Draken.
"Fine, you won this round Ruby...we'll get some drinks.....later"Emma replied.
"President Hunt, you have a delivery...."Secretary Joyce came into her office.....Shaun behind her.... holding two huge bouquets of jasmine flowers.
Only one person would give her those..
"They came with a letter" Joyce added, handing her the letter....and it read..
"I might not be there beside you, but I'm always thinking about you....these flowers will look so elegant in your new office and will remind you of me....keep them close to you.....with love, Draken"
"Speak of him and he magically appears"Ruby whispered.
"Thank you Shaun, just put them there"Emma said... before he set them down on a table and went out, along with Joyce.
"You married right Emma, the way your husband spoils you, it's just so cute" Ruby said.
"Aren't they supposed to be out of season, where did he get these?"Emma asked herself..
They were fresh and had the same nice fragrance....
That same moment, her phone rang....and he was the one calling...
"Did you get the flowers?"Draken asked on the other side of the line as soon as she picked up.
"I did, but where did you get them? Aren't they out of season?"Emma asked.
"They are, but when it comes to you, I can do anything...."Draken replied.
"Thank you so much, they're beautiful"Emma said.
"Don't cry...or your husband will feel bad"Draken teased her.
"No, I won't cry.....I love you, so much"Emma replied.
"I love you even more....little bird"
For someone who didn't have anyone who loved her before...she had everything now, and this man was more than enough for her.
