"Emma"a soft yet familiar voice called onto her.
"Mom, is that you?"Emma asked.
"Yes...it's me..."her mom replied.
"Mom I miss you so much...why did you have to leave me"Emma cried.
"Emma I'm sorry.... but you don't have to be sad and alone anymore"her mom replied.
"Draken is there for you, and I'm so glad you married a great man like him.... he'll take good care of you....I'm very happy"her mom added.
"Mommy, please don't go again...please"Emma pleaded.
"Please, please!"
Emma woke up abruptly from her dream. It was just two o'clock in the morning.
"Emma,it's okay it was just a dream"Draken comforted her.
"Sorry, did I wake you?"Emma asked.
"I was already awake.... don't worry"Draken replied.
"What did you dream about that scared you like that?"Draken continued to ask after they lay back down together.
"I dreamt about mom.....she's happy that I got married to you"Emma replied.
"But I miss her so much, I remember like it was just yesterday when I last saw her"Emma sadly said.
"Emma....mom wouldn't want you to be sad like I don't want to see you sad"Draken replied.
"I don't what if do without you, I'd have gone crazy by now...."Emma said.
"You don't ever have to pretend in front of me.. if you ever go crazy, then I'll go crazier.. I'll always support you"Draken replied to cheer her up.
He was indeed crazier when it came to Emma.
"You're such a sweet talker.....makes me think you've ever done this for someone else"Emma said.
"I've done anything like this for anyone else...only my wife deserves this"Draken replied.
"You're special to me....and not worthless like your sister"Draken added.
Sam could just die for all he cared.
"Have you ever thought what it'd be like...if you never met me and got married to her?"Emma asked.
"Never. Even if I hadn't met you, Sam is the last person if want to marry"Draken replied and it made her rest assured.
Draken would never look at Sam the way he looked at his wife. She could just die for all he cared.
"Thank you so much for choosing me husband, I won't let you down as your wife"Emma said...before he kissed her forehead and they went back to sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING...
DAVE MANSION...
"Daddy, you're finally back home....I missed you so much" Sam greeted her father who'd just returned home.
"How has my beautiful daughter been?"He asked.
"Dad it's bad. Eversince you left,things have been going wrong for me... Emma has taken everything that should belong to me"Sam replied.
She pretended to cry with fake tears to get his sympathy.
"She took Draken and she's the new President of Dave Corp" she added.
"That ungrateful girl, how can she do that! where's your mother?"Her dad asked angrily.
"Mom hasn't been feeling well since last night, she's resting in her room....but daddy please, you need to do something about this" Sam replied.
"Don't worry dear, I'll definitely do something about it.....that ungrateful girl will not take what belongs to you" her dad reassured her.
That's exactly what Samantha wanted....the unwavering support her father gave to her, as if she was his only daughter...yet Emma was his daughter too.
But the bond that existed between Emma and her father was broken completely...there was nothing else that could be done.
HUNT MANSION...

Draken's words kept ringing inside David's head.... the way his little brother had changed and turned out.
To be scary, manipulative....more cunning than he ever was.....smarter than he ever was. How quickly he turned the tables on him all on his own.

He was now a force to be reckoned with....more dangerous than anyone could ever imagine him to be.
Getting Ouracle from him was going to be the hardest thing he'd ever do...
More and more people were already joining his side...his parents considered him to be their golden son....the woman he loved was still obsessed with him, and the girl he liked was already married to him.
What else did he have to do to win against him? Clearly, he'd be fighting a losing game.
EMMA AND DRAKEN'S HOME....
"Draken, where are you taking me?"Emma asked.
Draken had blindfolded her.
"Today is a big day for my wife...so I got her a little surprise" Draken replied.
"A surprise?"Emma asked.
"Yes, watch your step..... we're almost there" Draken replied.
"Draken, how many more surprises do you have for me?"Emma asked.
"You'll see, we're here" Draken replied, removing her blindfold.
"You can open your eyes now" Draken added.
As soon as Emma opened her eyes, she saw brand new custom Chevrolet Camaro in front of her....wrapped with a ribbon.
"No way! Is that what I think it is!"she exclaimed in excitement.
"Yes, your own brand new car" Draken replied.... while Shaun handed her the keys.
"Do you like it?"Draken continued to ask.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love it...so much" Emma replied hugging Draken.
He spoilt his wife way too much.
It felt like just yesterday when she just begged her father and step mother to have the slightest of a good thing... getting such nice and expensive things wasn't easy...yet for Sam it was the simplest...
She was her father's golden daughter... whatever she'd want she'd take, even if it belonged to Emma.
But the way Draken made every impossible thing possible for her was just something else.
He was her guardian angel sent by her mom to do what she couldn't do.
"Emma, you're now a boss lady... everything about you has to change. You can't look weak in front of your enemies"Draken held her tight.
"Right, I'll do as you say"Emma replied.
"You don't have to be afraid...I might not be there, but Shaun will. I trust he can watch over you for me"Draken whispered.
"And if you need me, I'm just a phone call away....I'll be right there when you need me" he added....and she nodded in agreement.

"Guys...did you hear, a new President will be taking over today...I heard that she's the elder daughter of the company owners"
"I saw her on the news, she's the one who married Draken Hunt...."
"She's the new boss lady"
The employees were gossiping....rumors had moved around the company....
Even the company executives and shareholders had held a meeting to discuss about the ongoing issue.... including Emma's dad, Samantha and her mother.
Just outside the large company building... Emma's new car arrived at the entrance.... Emma took a deep breath before stepping out of the car.
The last time she stepped foot there, she was forced to leave... but today, no one would dare to touch her.
"Good morning ma'am"
"Good morning"
Her new employees greeted her as she passed by, simply giving them a kind smile...
"She's much more prettier in person..."
With the group of people elite following behind her.....Shaun inclusive....her entrance was in another level.... until she reached the boardroom, where the grand meeting was.
"Ladies and gentlemen.....apologies for being late"Emma said as soon as she entered.
"Being late? You're not even supposed to be here!" Sam was the first to react.
"Speaking as who? As far as I remember, you're the one who's not supposed to be here"Emma calmly replied.
"Stop this nonsense immediately Emma!"her dad snapped at her.
"Mr Dave, you have no right to tell me what to do, you're neither my father, nor the largest shareholder" Emma replied.
"You want the presidency!! Over my dead body Emma!"Sam almost hit her, but Emma was way ahead of her.
"You don't scare me...and this is just getting started"Emma replied... tossing her hand aside like it was trash.
"Shareholders, executives.....allow me to formally introduce myself..."Emma turned to face them.
"Most of you now know me as a Dave, but I'm now married...Mrs Emma Hunt, the new largest shareholder of Dave Corp...and if you allow me be the rightful President, rest assured....Ouracle will become our partner"she said.
"It's now upto you to choose me....or the the person who's done nothing for the company upto this day"she belittled Sam at the end of her short speech.
"How dare you speak about your sister like that!! You haven't learnt your lesson yet" her dad almost hit her...but Shaun stepped in to protect his boss' wife.
"Mr Dave, that's enough of your drama....we won't let you kick out the new President"one of the shareholders spoke up.
"New President?"Sam asked confused.
"Samantha Dave, your sister is right, you've done nothing to get the partnership with Ouracle...you rejected David Hunt on the day of your wedding and Draken Hunt clearly has no feelings for you" the shareholder continued to explain.
"Emma's already married into the Hunt family and has the full support of Ouracle's President and Chairman, what have you done?" an executive asked.
"But...."Sam tried to defend herself...but it was pointless.
"Having the Dave name holds no value for you anymore, all of us here are choosing Mrs. Emma Hunt, after all..her mother started this company"the executive concluded.
"Thank you so much"Emma happily replied.
The more Sam was ridiculed....the happier it made her, she'd long wait for this moment..
The taste of victory over her.
"Mrs Emma, congratulations....we look forward to working with you" the company executives congratulated her...before the short meeting was adjourned.
"You called me a failure...but who's laughing now?"Emma asked her father.
"Shaun, get this two out of my company right now" Emma mercilessly ordered....before she also turned to leave.
"Emma you ungrateful girl! You wouldn't be here if it weren't for me!" Her dad still continued to snap at her.
"Your mother must be so disappointed where she is" the moment he spoke about her dead mother, Emma almost lost her temper.
"One more word about my mother and I swear....you'll regret it!"She coldly replied.
"Forget I was ever your daughter, just like you're dead to me"Emma added.
"I don't need a backstabbing sister like you either....you stole Draken from me, if he'd married me, we wouldn't have to see this day"Sam said.
"Draken is my husband.....I don't care what you have to say to me, but don't you dare mention his name with your filthy mouth"Emma shot back at her.
"Again, get get them out of here!"
"You heard the boss lady"Shaun said, dragging the both of them out... with his team...and Emma proceeded to her office.
"Ma'am, I'll be your secretary from now on, my name is Joy"her new secretary formally introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you Joy,"Emma replied.
"Anything I can do for you?" she asked, and Emma scanned through the office that once belonged to Sam.
"Yes, I want this all changed....it doesn't suit my style"she replied...
She was about to change not just the office, but the whole Dave Corp to its original glory.
OURACLE...
"President Hunt got married....and his wife is the new owner of Dave Corp"
"Honestly, with his dating history...I thought he'd never get married"
"The girl who stole his heart is so lucky.....he obviously loves her a lot"
The employees at Ouracle were also gossiping about their boss.
Someone who was never seen with any woman, or even dating....was suddenly married and no longer a bachelor.....this was beyond their expectations.
PRESIDENT'S OFFICE...
"I'm not worried about Emma, I trust her completely...she can handle herself"Draken, currently signing some documents on his desk...said to Erick.
"What about getting rid of them completely? Do you still have that in mind?" Erick asked.
"Yes...but I'll let my wife first do whatever she wants with them .....then, they'll be gone"Draken calmly replied.
"Right, about what you asked me to do....all the assets and properties that once belonged to Mrs Emma's mom...now rightfully belong to her, that includes the Dave Mansion....worth billions"Erick said.
"A mansion?" Draken asked.
"Yes, the one her father's second family took over after her mom's death" Erick replied, showing him all the details...and Draken laughed.
The house his wife was kicked out of...was her own house, and they still had the audacity to be living there like they did nothing wrong.
They should have been the homeless ones from the start instead of Emma.
To think, her father was just a freeloader...and Emma's late mother was the real owner of everything... renaming her family business after her husband.
She loved Emma's dad but he gave her nothing but pain I'm return....and even cheated on her.
"Wow.....this is great news Erick, these people won't see what hit them"
Draken was going to strike again...he knew exactly what to do next.
