Chapter 1 - The first spark ✨️

One glance across a crowd outside the school, one second too long before looking away, and the world quietly shifted. He didn't know her name, and she didn't know his, yet something between them stirred—a faint recognition that felt older than memory itself. Outside, the rain kept falling, but inside, a new season began. He never forgot her face. Each night, as sleep crept over him, her image returned—soft, distant, yet vividly alive in the corners of his mind. One afternoon, his friend mentioned a fight he had with someone. Curious, he asked who it was, and Rolace simply replied—it was a girl. Something in that answer unsettled him. Weeks passed, and through a web of coincidences—or perhaps fate—he stumbled upon her contact information. After a long pause, he sent the first message. And just like that, the story that had once begun by chance began to breathe again. With an eager pulse, he sent the first message. A simple "hi."

She replied, "hello."

He asked her name, and she said, "kuruni." When she asked his, he smiled and typed, "Sasuke."

From then on, their conversations blossomed. They spoke of everything and nothing, laughed over small jokes, and shared quiet secrets that built invisible bridges between their hearts. Neither of them noticed when it happened, but somewhere between those words and nights of talking, they fell deeply, effortlessly, and beautifully in love.

Days turned into weeks as Sasuke struggled with the growing weight of unspoken feelings. Every time Kuruni laughed or sent him a simple "goodnight," his heart ached with warmth he couldn't put into words. Yet, whenever he thought of confessing, fear held him back. But love, when caged too long, begins to ache for release. One quiet evening, under the pale glow of his desk lamp, Sasuke decided it was time. He would confess his love the only way he truly knew— through poetry. He wrote with trembling hands, each line carrying the truth of his heart. The words flowed gently, like whispers between two souls meant only for each other. When he was done, he hesitated for a moment…and then sent it to her.

He wrote:

"I don't know when it happened,

But your name became my calm,

Your voice, a gentle melody,

Your smile, my favorite psalm.I find you in the morning light,

In every dream I see,

I didn't plan to fall in love—

It quietly conquered me.I don't have perfect words to say,

Or promises in gold,

Just a heart that beats for you,

More than it's ever told.So here I stand, with all I am,

No mask, no careful art,

Just a boy who found his world,

Living inside your heart."

That night, Sasuke sat by his window, heart pounding like a quiet drum. The city outside was asleep, but his world was wide awake—breathing, trembling, waiting. He had written and rewritten those lines a hundred times, pouring all the feelings he had locked inside for months into one confession that spoke for his soul. With hesitant fingers, he finally sent it to Kuruni.

Minutes passed like hours. Then, her message appeared. It wasn't a direct answer, but there was warmth in her words—a soft yes hidden beneath shy metaphors. Yet Sasuke couldn't be sure. His heart fluttered between hope and doubt, and the silence that followed left him restless. His face grew dim with confusion, the glow in his eyes fading into an anxious calm.Just when his hope began to waver, another message arrived.

"Meet me outside my school tomorrow," she wrote. Those few words lit something within him. The night that had wrapped him in uncertainty now shimmered with quiet promise. He could barely sleep. Every memory of her smile replayed in his mind like scenes of a dream he was too afraid to wake from. Tomorrow, he thought, might be the day everything changes—the day love finds its voice. The next day, at 11:30 a.m., Sasuke stood outside, his heart racing faster than time. His palms were cold, his mind a storm of thoughts. Every passing minute tightened the knot of nervousness in his chest. Then, through the crowd, he finally saw her—walking toward him, sunlight glinting in her hair. Relief and love collided in his smile.Minutes passed like hours, and doubt crept in—until he finally saw her walking toward him. She was a little late, but as his eyes met hers, time itself seemed to pause again, just as it had the first time they saw each other. A helpless smile spread across his face, filled with love and awe. When she finally came close, he looked into her eyes and whispered softly, "You're looking like a panda who's going to steal my heart and run away." He said it playfully, almost like poetry, and she couldn't help but laugh—the kind of laughter that sounded like love replying without words.

They spent that afternoon talking—about everything, about nothing, about love that had quietly grown between them. And when Kuruni finally said goodbye, her smile lingered, her eyes glimmering with affection. In that moment, Sasuke knew she had already said yes—without ever needing the words. As Sasuke walked home, he blushed the entire way, his grin impossible to hide. On the other side of town, Kuruni too couldn't stop smiling, her cheeks warm with shy happiness. One of her friends noticed her dreamy expression and asked what had happened. Kuruni only smiled and, with a sparkle in her eyes, began describing Sasuke in the most lovely way possible.

Days began to move more softly after that meeting. The memory of her shy smile lingered in Sasuke's mind like a melody he couldn't stop humming. Every message, every call, every glance exchanged from a distance carried new meaning. They were no longer just two people talking; they were two hearts learning to beat in rhythm. Kuruni often found herself lost in thoughts of Sasuke . His words had a way of wrapping around her like warm sunlight after a long rain. Her friends began to notice her glow—how her lips curved into a smile without reason, how her eyes sparkled when her phone buzzed. When one of her closest mates teased her again about the mysterious boy, she finally said softly, "He's someone who speaks with his heart more than his words."Meanwhile, Sasuke couldn't stop replaying that afternoon. The way she stood before him, the faint laughter in her eyes—it all felt unreal. He would catch himself smiling at nothing, as if the world around him suddenly made sense. Their bond grew deeper each passing day, and even silence between them began to feel comfortable, full of unspoken affection. One starry evening, as they talked about their day, Kuruni whispered, "You know, since that day, I see you even when I close my eyes." Those words stayed with Sasuke long after the call ended. For the first time, he truly believed that love didn't need grand declarations—it only needed two hearts brave enough to feel.Their story was still unfolding, softly and beautifully, like a blooming flower that takes its time under the morning sun.

One day after so many happy years together of Sasuke and Kuruni suddenly Zack reentered Kuruni's life to pursue her back with deep feelings....
