Just as the noises from the merchant's tent were growing ever more intense, Roxanne tried to escape it by covering her head with her blanket. The voices were muffled but only a little, and after a while, something behind her shifted that made things even more awkward.
"W-wait, Roxanne's right there…" Rudy whispered, his voice trembling under pressure.
"She's asleep," Audrey replied, and something shifted around Roxanne some more.
The healer's heart raced to their words, and the ruffling sound of clothes only made it worse. Something was happening between the two, and not being able to see wasn't helping to ease her anxiety one bit.
"Just let me try again." The sound of a zipper being slipped open sent a shiver up Roxanne's spine. "Again? Why?"
