Amon's vision darkened and darkened until he felt his mind grow blank and he lost consciousness.
A strange light streamed in through the windows and he gradually opened his eyes after what seemed like an eternity.
He turned to the side to notice the granny conversing with Helena, the two of them chatting like they had been long time friends.
"Urgh," Amon muttered, still feeling the aftertaste of the disgusting liquid lingering in his mouth.
'Mine contained the poison…' Amon realized as he stood up, still feeling the dizziness clouding his mind.
'Then what happened. Why am I perfectly alright now?'
The words of the old lady echoed in his mind silently…

Silently, he glanced at Helena who was still chatting with the old granny.
The granny also glanced at him.
"What is this about?" Amon muttered as he walked toward the two.
"You're awake, child." The granny's eyes immediately lit up the moment she saw Amon.
