[Congratulations! You have condensed the first strand of Primordial Energy.]
[You have drastically modified your body constitution at birth, awakening the Limitless Physique.]
[Integrating Limitless Physique…]
[You have begun forming your Primordial Core.]
[Please review the information below…]
Amon's gaze shifted between the intense influx of information on the silvery screen in front of him.
"Limitless Physique? Primordial Energy? What… the hell?"
His thoughts slowed to a crawl, and before he could realize what was happening, a mysterious energy washed over his body.
He could feel the internal structure of his body changing.
It was similar to his previous life when cancer had been eating him alive, but unlike then, he could feel his body innately becoming better, stronger, and far greater than ever before.
Amon's head grew muddled as he finally drifted off to sleep, letting the constant alteration of his physique continue. A sweet smile touched his lips.
"My baby," Amon's mother, Vela, muttered with a faint smile as she stared at the gentle baby face.
Around her, the maids were also filled with smiles as they admired the affectionate display between mother and son.
"He looks as beautiful as you, milady," a maid beside her said softly, causing the others to let out sweet chuckles.
"Oh?" Vela blushed slightly. "Is that so?"
The maids nodded frantically.
…
Amon couldn't tell how long he slept, but gradually his vision cleared, and he realized he was inside an extraordinary chamber.
Flowers in vases adorned the surroundings, and off to the side was a thick stack of books neatly arranged on a bookshelf. The room carried the fresh scent of flowers, and the small cottage where he lay seemed to possess a comforting warmth.
He glanced around and didn't notice anyone in the room.
He tried to speak, but only gurgling sounds came out of his mouth.
'My vocal cords should be underdeveloped for now. Since I can't call for anyone, what do I do to pass the time?'
Amon shifted his gaze around, and after briefly taking in the scenery, he recalled something.
'System?' There was no answer.
'Status? Stats?'
After calling out a few more random words in his mind, a glowing screen materialized in front of him.
[Name: —
Age: —
Unique Aspect: Limitless Physique
Divine Path: —
Celestial Gift: —
Strength: 3
Agility: 2
Vitality: 3
Perception: 1]
Amon read through the information and was astounded.
'Celestial Gift? Divine Path? What do those mean? What are Celestial Gifts?'
Complex thoughts filled his mind as he tried to make sense of it all.
He could understand the name and age aspects. He hadn't been given a name yet, and his age would most likely start counting once he turned one.
However, it was difficult to tell how Celestial Gifts or Divine Paths could be obtained.
'How interesting…' Amon wasn't disheartened. He resolved himself internally and closed his eyes to study his Limitless Physique.
Upon scanning his body, he could sense a mysterious energy flowing through every fiber of his being.
'Primordial Energy?'
Amon could tell this was the same energy he had struggled to absorb the moment he was born.
The energy moved through his limbs along a network of veins, wandering aimlessly without direction.
Recalling what he had read from the status screen before passing out, he tried to guide the mysterious energy toward his midsection, where he could feel something forming.
It was difficult at first, but as Amon persisted, he could feel the Primordial Energy gradually moving toward the center of his belly.
Around him, wisps of transparent energy entered his body as he directed them all toward the forming core.
Amon was so engrossed in the process that he didn't notice his mother quietly enter with a warm smile on her face.
She stood beside the gently swaying cradle, staring at Amon with tenderness.
Noticing his furrowed brows and concentrated expression, she was momentarily stunned.
'Is my baby having a dream? Do babies dream the moment they're born?' Her mind ran wild with all sorts of thoughts—after all, this was her first time being a mother.
Suddenly, the furrowed brows relaxed, and eyes with pearl-blue pupils opened smoothly to stare at the beautiful woman.
Vela looked startled to be caught staring, but her expression quickly softened into happiness.
"My baby," she cooed, then reached out to pick Amon gently from the cradle. "I hope I didn't startle you awake?"
Amon stared at the flawless beauty as she lifted him. He stopped his absorption of Primordial Energy instantly.
'My mother in this life…' He was reminded of his previous one and couldn't help but push those memories to the back of his mind, unwilling to let the sadness surface—at least not now.
Vela looked like a flawless beauty by Amon's standards. With flowing silver hair, she seemed like a goddess, and her pearl-blue eyes, filled with warmth, concealed many emotions.
Clad in a dark green dress embroidered with floral patterns, she looked even more beautiful than the models Amon had seen back on Earth.
'How beautiful,' he thought blankly.
Vela swayed him gently for a few minutes before recalling something.
A slow smirk spread across her lips, and she shifted her gaze down to Amon, pausing her movements.
"Alger. Come and see my son."
The moment she finished speaking, a blinding golden light surfaced around her, and she turned to Amon.
"Son, meet my Celestial Dragon…"
From her midsection, the golden light intensified, gradually taking form.
Amon watched in astonishment as the radiance solidified into a creature.
It resembled a Chinese dragon, with intricate pale-blue scales lining its exterior.
Its narrow blue slits stared at Amon, who was frozen in place as it slithered and coiled through the air, expressing its joy.
'You—don't you dare come close!' Amon protested, but only incomprehensible sounds escaped his mouth.
The creature moved slowly and finally reached Amon, who rested in Vela's delicate hands.
Frozen in awe, Amon couldn't help but stare into the dragon's eyes.
He expected to see wrath, or perhaps the wild, fierce emotion such a being should possess.
However, all he could see in the eyes was warmth and gentleness.
The Celestial Dragon rubbed its head gently against Amon, as though welcoming him into the family.
He felt the dragon's warmth on his cheek and, for the first time since waking, wanted something clear: to understand what exactly forces governed the world, and… if true strength was attainable!
