Belarus was standing behind Dravon all the while, hiding while Dravon engaged in a fierce fight with the uninvited visitors. He swung his sword in succession across the open shack; the swishing sound of flesh filled it.
Dravon did not stop until there was total silence.
The man whom Dravon killed first had been one of the men who attacked him at the market. A total of fifteen men had been sent to kill him, and more are likely on the way. His location had been compromised.
He turned to talk to Belarus only to find him packing anything he could place his hands on into a bag that sat at his feet.
"We need to leave this place now!" He shouted at no one in particular, panic written all over his face. Dravon held him down by the shoulder, trying to steady his trembling hands.
"Calm down. Yes, we are getting away, but you have to think first. And pack only the things we need." Belarus nodded. He upturned the contents of the bag, putting back only the items he could not leave behind.
