As Arcane said, the next day he finally returned home and arrived in the afternoon. Luna was the happiest to see her father come home. She immediately ran towards him and hugged him.
The fatigue from the trip seemed to disappear instantly when Arcane saw his daughter.
"Daddy!" She exclaimed happily as she ran towards him and hugged her father.
"Oh, hello Luna. Did you miss me?" he asked as he hugged his daughter and kissed her forehead.
The little girl nodded, kissing his cheek. She said she missed him very much even though he had only been gone for two days.
Not long after, Julian followed his husband, who had just arrived. Arcane was quite happy to see the man again, but he noticed something different about him. Julian's face looked tired, a little pale, and as if he was thinking about something.
