Chapter 2 - The Moth Man

The windows sealed shut, barring the sunlight from the large, butterfly filled room. Within the darkness of the room a set of purple eyes shone, eerie and cold. The darkness of the room mirrored the heart of he who stood within it, and though It had fought and fought to keep his candles of lit, the darkness prevailed little by little and all it does now is hurt, yet still the darkness seemed to not entirely prevail.

Much like his cane, the grip he now has on his powers is uncomfortably firm.

He breathes. Then he speaks, " This test was a success. With my original akuma, I'll re awaken the stone heart and use him along with his cavalry I'll provide to best those two supposed heroes."

He keeps silent for a short while and continues, "I thought it was beyond dreaming and wishing and I believed that I was most definitely above begging. But I have begged and I have wished and I have prayed, yet still i fail.

With all my money I search, with this great jewel i try, and with all the love in my heart I hope, yet the universe seems to deem me unworthy. It fails to grant me the power to bring her to life once more.

HOW???

But I will be worthy. As long as I have the miraculouses of the ladybug and the black cat even the cosmos will bend to fulfil my great wish and I don't care who I have to hurt to make that happen.

It's already began.

All the buzzing, everywhere, from everyone. Endless whisperings from everyone who walks the city.

'Did you see? Did you hear?' They question each other. As their hearts fill with unease.

The gripping chill that takes hold of them in the still bright afternoon is but the beginning.

But all this was but only the tip of the iceberg. There were the ones lucky or unlucky that got to meet the grimm man in black. I can only imagine; the fear, the desperation, the sight of your own impending demise with no possible way to escape. The regret—life, memories flashing before you. All those those, all the things you could have been or could've done. Now there was absolutely no chance. Is this how my story ends, I they'd ask but how could I know. I had never had to be face to face with death.

Perhaps if it had been just that then it wouldn't have been so, so—jarring. One minute gone and another perfectly restored, yanked from hades and into life once more. It was beyond strange but perfect for me nonetheless.

I will harness their emotions and turn it against them. Every time their hearts race they'll look about them in fear, watching to see if a black butterfly shows up. I'll force my way inside their minds and twist it against them, bringing all they revile in the mirror to the light. I'll give them no change to breathe, nor the delight of a good night's rest.

Like a predator I'll stalk them from day till night, from waking to all the stretches of their dreams and turn it into their worst nightmare. So much so they shake in bed and cry for me to pardon them.

I'll break their minds and then their spirits and even if I am unable they'll bring me ladybug and cat Noir themselves. Until my happiness is fulfilled no one will be happy,"

says a man in a purple suit.

Meanwhile, after escaping the alleyway with probably a few broken bones. After a few moments of walking i heard a familiar voice, scraned my neck upward only to see Nadia on a big screen, giving a briefing about whom all parisians has come to know as the Stone Heart. She mentioned Ivan from the francois dupong high school had been transformed into the horid abomination.

His parents had not allowed for any interviews but she had Alya's footage as well as statements from the mayor.

"It seemed strange to me though. Hawk moth should have released all those akuma's by now. Has something changed?

I really hope it's not what I'm thinking because if me being here is changing the story then I might complicate things or alert future bunnix to come get me or that all my foreknowledge becomes useless." I think to myself while heading for the park.
