Getting inside of his room, it looked similar to the ones at the inn. Chase checked his status window, focusing on it until a glowing red screen appeared once again.
"I gotta check a few things." Chase was curious of what killing would do, even if not exactly for the quest, just in general.
[quest complete]
+30 Attribute points
[spirit weapon]—Jasmine(locked)
[points to evolve]—230/1000
"WHAT!?" seeing that drastic boost in points, Chase was freaking out. "So killing them granted me additional points as well as the mission points being added on." The system also gave him passive points for killing.
'I don't know if this works for every enemy, but they have to be at least somewhat around my level. Otherwise I should just stay here and kill goblins forever.'
What would his evolutions even be anyway? For sure a stat boost, but how would his looks change? What new abilities would he get?Would it be minimal or would he have to make an even bigger effort to hide them?
"Doesn't matter. I'm heading to bed." Chase had done enough thinking for today and was content with getting some rest.

Waking up, Chase was in good spirits. Smiling like a child with a propeller on a hat, Chase was thinking about jasmine. Every time he fell asleep, she snatched him from his normal dream and they talked about issues in his spirit sea.
'Not only is she beautiful, but she's a great listener. Wish she would just open up about…well anything really' Chase had to know more,
he'd get to the bottom of that mystery eventually.
Wiping that stupid grin off his face, he changed back into his normal attire before heading out. opening the hallway door, Chase saw everyone else heading out of their respective rooms as well. Andrew was struggling to keep his mask on right, Damian took a piece of the doorframe with him, not thinking about his newfound size, and Donny still looked almost as nonchalant as ever.
It still looked like he we putting in a bit of effort.
Leaning on the doorway, Chase yawned
"Everyone sleep alright?" Andrew was quick to reply "Yeah mostly, but the moment I first get comfortable I hear "WHAT" Coming from your room." He said starting at Chase as if he could see through him.
"My bad, but it was one thing." Chase tried to defend himself.
"None of that matters, what did you find out?"
Donnie said. He had to know. He didn't see what Andrew did, surely Chase would let him in on something. "You'll find out in an hour at most" Chase responded, to Damian's annoyance.
Just as Damian was about to continue the conversation, Earl comes down the stairs to the left of them, causing them to Crain their heads in his direction.
"Good news" he said, walking between them, to the front door. "We told the townspeople of your deeds, and the men you helped spread word as well. The whole village is ready to see their saviors."
Walking out of the house, they saw Charles in front of a village of hundreds of people. There was a giant bell in the village to signify a unification of all residents, usually for executions, or to see who would be up next in the hierarchy.
the bell was rung and on the pole it was on, their was a sign just slightly below it, reading
"Meet at earls estate" in a few hours, hundreds had gathered.
leaving the house, they were greatly by Charles in a smaller version of chases full plate armor, standing in front on the crowd.
Looking back at them, he smiled, tilting sideways and pointing at them.
"Here are your heroes now. Feast your eyes"
as everyone walked down the stairs of the house, there were bombarded with Both thanks and requests.
"Can you please marry my daughter? I promise she's a looker." "My brother was killed by that gate, many thanks for avenging him" "Can at least one of you stay here permanently?"
"They are in a frenzy." Chase said, looking at Earl. He shook his head "you've just given them something they haven't had in a while.
Hope."
