"Blood Flame!!"

Crimson flames, like a tidal wave, erupted from the magic circle.

This was the signature "Blood Flame" magic of Blood Demon Jet, the guild leader of the dark guild "Crimson Tide." He couldn't explain the location of Erigor, but he didn't want to die so easily.

So he made a third option on his own initiative—a surprise attack!

He harbored a sliver of hope that the black-robed man before him was merely outwardly strong but inwardly weak, not as mysterious and powerful as he had imagined. If that were the case, his surprise attack would have a chance of success, and he could survive.

However, fantasy is ultimately just fantasy.

His choice, in the eyes of the man in black robes, was no different from the second choice. In the end, he would die anyway; at most, he would put up a last-ditch resistance before he died.

At that moment, a wave of blood-red flames surged in the air and then swept down towards the man in black robes, much to Jet's anticipation.

But in the next moment, the expectation in Jet's eyes slowly turned into horror, and then despair.

As the wave-like blood flames approached the black-robed man, they seemed to be affected by an invisible force, their speed suddenly decreasing. Even more terrifying was that the extremely dense blood flames, while slowing down, were also constantly dissipating. In no time, the blood flames turned into nothingness and vanished into the air.

Thump!

Upon seeing this bizarre scene, Jet felt a sudden weakness, then his legs buckled and he knelt on the ground.

If this person had used pure, powerful magic against him, he would have been afraid, but not so terrified. However, he had never seen the black-robed man make a move. But the fact that the guild members were frozen in place and the blood flames dissipated into nothingness proved the man's strength and terror. This kind of invisible method was the root of his despair.

So desperate that they didn't even dare to entertain the thought of taking further action.

"it's over."

The man in black robes uttered a soft voice, then gently raised his right hand, extending two fingers. Purple gold light shone from the fingertips, without any fluctuations. A beam of purple gold light shot out from his fingertips, instantly piercing through Jet's brow.

The next moment, the purple gold light dissipated, and with it, the light in Jet's eyes and... his life vanished!

With another thud, Jet's body collapsed completely, his life force gone.

The man in black robes didn't look at the fallen Jet again. Instead, he turned his gaze and swept it over the dozen or so frozen members of the Crimson Tide around him. With a thought, an invisible wave emanated from his eyes.

Then, the light in the eyes of the Crimson Tide members dimmed, and one by one they collapsed to the ground, lifeless. Even in death, their faces retained that mocking expression...

Although it wasn't the first time he'd done something like this, the man in black robes couldn't help but sigh after each session, "The feeling of having stronger mental power is truly different; dealing with these small fry is much easier than before."

After doing all this, the man in black robes did not rush to leave. Instead, he went directly into the guild and began to loot it. The wealth in these dark guilds was all obtained illegally, and many of them were quite large. With the idea that "it's free, so why not take it?", he felt no guilt whatsoever.

And judging from his practiced manner, he had obviously done this kind of thing many times before.

He moved quickly and soon came out again. He looked around the entire guild and muttered to himself, "The same as always."

After speaking, he raised one hand, and a streak of red light flew out from his hand and landed on a wall. The red light dissipated, revealing a red lotus pattern that seemed to be engraved on the wall.

"That's it," the man in black robes smiled with satisfaction, then turned and left the guild.

As he stepped out of the guild, an invisible wave spread out from his body. Then, the small guild building suddenly began to decay, as if it had experienced thousands of years in that instant. After the black-robed man walked away, the entire building, except for a small section of wall engraved with a red lotus pattern, had completely disappeared.

Not far away, the man in black robes lifted the black robes off his head as he walked, and the brilliant sunlight shone on his handsome face, making the features of his face more defined. He looked less childish and more mature. Although the change was significant, it was still clear that this was Zeros two years later.

Of course, the changes in Zeros over the past two years weren't limited to these aspects; his strength also changed! As for just how strong he is now, even Zeros himself isn't entirely sure, because so far, he has never encountered an opponent who required him to use his full power...

"Erigor, no matter how well you hide, I will find you."

Zeros's tone carried a hint of disappointment, because he had experienced countless similar situations in the past two years, including this one in the 'Crimson Tide'.

In the past two years, Zeros was initially just searching for the whereabouts of Erigor and his dark guild 'Eisenwald', but after several months of fruitless searching, he began to pay attention to other dark guilds.

He thought that since they were both dark guilds, there might be a lot of clues about Erigor among them.

Finding any dark guild is much easier than searching for only one Eisenwald.

His idea was good, but the final result was a huge disappointment. Most of the situations were exactly the same as the 'Crimson Tide'. As a result, he realized that although they were all dark guilds, they had very little contact with each other. Apart from the top three dark guilds , the other guilds had no idea about each other.

Despite this, Zeros never gave up. No matter what, he would kill Erigor!

Not long after Zeros left, another person quietly arrived at the ruins of the 'Crimson Tide'.
