The sun was shining like a Giant Red Ball of flame, it gave of the feeling that it would scorch any life and any joy on its path. Kael Draven the Vice captain of the Delta Defense Force is running as fast as he can. His legs are starting to give out but he can't give up yet
"Everything changed on that cursed day"
He curses as he runs in the wasteland all he can see is a scorched wasteland at dusk surrounded by jugged ruins on the horizon. Smoke plumes rise from the distant direction of Haven Reach. Haven reach, a place where people who suffered from the aftermath of Overcast has gathered for shelter and protection is a small village like shelter surrounded by a barrier, wasteland and ruins. Kael Draven fully armored and visor down, kicks up the dust by gathering all of his will power and hope sprinting towards Haven Reach. His path was not easy by the less, many evolvants are gathered here trying to pray on something, waiting to satisfy their hunger. Kael narrows his eyes through his visor, sweat bead gathers at the corner of his eyes,
"Faster, I have to be faster…"
He keeps praying in his mind holding on to the faint hope that he will be able to reach there before things goes worse. A twisted wolf with bone spines jutting from its back looks at Kael with its eye full of hunger. Unable to suppress its bloodlust the beast jumps forward alone leaving behind its pack and lunges at Kael. Kael slices it mid-air with a glowing Pulse Blade. Blood and flesh scatters everywhere as he one shots the Evolvant. The pack that was behind that beast hesitated before rushing at Kael with pure madness and howling in pain and agony, Kael's breath clouds in the cold air, but his focus is razor sharp as he slashes them mercilessly.
One of the larger wolf as tall as 9 feet breaks out from the pack, its eyes glowing with primal rage swipes its claws toward Kael's neck. Kael pivots, narrowly avoiding the swipe. He slashes his blade upwards aiming for the belly of the monster because its spine functions like an unbreakable armor. The beast does not stop there. It takes the attack trying to catch Kael in its range and bites on his shoulder. Kael slashes one of its leg and stabs the beast's chest. The beast started groaning but doesn't let Kael go easily it increases its bite force as its spine armor strengthens its teeth and other facial muscles. Kael pushes his blade further inside and then lets the blade go, he holds the jaw of the beast and its head. As the beast increases its force so does he. Kael tears apart the beast's jaw and detaches its head from the body. He stands there, tired and full of blood on his armor, his breath becomes heavier.
" come on.." he growls under his breath, lowering into a stance,
"I am not done yet."
The communication device on his shoulder blinks and someone speaks,
" B-barrier breached.. The defense is collapsing we can't hold on much longer.."
"—civilians are trapped inside, need reinforcement."
The communication cuts off.
Kael tries to reply using his device,
"I am coming, hold on somehow…."
Kael dashes forward in hurry, his visions starts to get blurry and his mind becomes hazy.

The Haven reach was under the attack of Evolvants. People took shelter in the places they felt safe. The Delta Defense force is already fighting against the Evolvants with all of their might. Four kids -- Muhit, Raisa, Anastasia and Noah are hiding inside of a small cabin. It is rumbling everywhere, screams of beasts can be heard. Suddenly the door of the small room started to crumble. Among them Raisa is a courageous one so she speaks up to encourage her friends,
"D-don't be afraid, Kael will save us"
The door of the room creeks open and a big shadow figure enters the cabin as blackish guu drips from its armor. The kids hug each other with fear of death in their eyes. They close their eyes praying that surely God will not forsake them again.
