Chapter 5 - Chapter five: Battle of Sky and Earth

Asmodeus stood atop a rocky hill, a cold smile never leaving his face. Behind him, the dark sea of demons roared, and in front of that sea stood the Great Alliance: humans, elves, dwarves, birds, werewolves, orcs, and vampires.

Asmodeus watched the Alliance armies from afar, then laughed mockingly:

"How pathetic you are… uniting like rats just to delay your inevitable end."

The demons behind him laughed, but suddenly the air trembled. From the heart of the shadows emerged Morlock, Asmodeus' father, the former king of demons:

"Let them gather all they have… nothing will remain of them but ashes."

Asmodeus replied:

"Very well. We will make their screams a hymn of hell."

On the opposite side, Hades watched the scene among the leaders. His icy eyes fixed on Asmodeus, then he said quietly to Fenikeros:

"I have found my prey…"

Fenikeros smiled slyly:

"Just don't let me be the one to cut off his head before you."

At that moment, Oungan's voice echoed from the Alliance ranks, mocking the demon army:

"All I see before me is flying flies, ice gorillas, bodies twisted like children's scribbles, and stray dogs."

The soldiers of the humans, elves, dwarves, birds, werewolves, orcs, and vampires laughed.

Kolmar of the dwarves laughed heartily:

"Hahaha… that human has an annoying tongue."

Rage ignited in Morlock's eyes as he roared:

"Do you dare compare the lineage of hell to insects?! You worthless wretch, I will tear your heart out and hang it in my palace as decoration!"

Oungan responded with a wide grin:

"Do it… if you can!"

Oungan's confidence inspired the soldiers to believe in themselves as well.

Beside Oungan, Poseidon, the King of the Seas, stepped forward and raised his trident. His voice cut through the chaos:

"Today we shall not lose. You will cross this land only as rotting corpses."

The Alliance's cheers rose, and the ground shook under the weight of weapons and armor. In response, the demon army growled and struck first.

Like a dark wave, their terrifying cries shook the horizon, meeting the roar of the Great Alliance.

The armies collided.

The orcs, with their massive bodies, struck with force, but every fallen monster was replaced by another—blood for blood, scream for scream. The dwarves, with armor hard as iron, stood like an unbreakable wall against the hellhounds' attack, and whenever one breached their ranks, a dwarf's axe would cut it down. The werewolves tore into the demons' flesh, but the demons retaliated with their black claws—every tear was met with another.

In the sky, another battle raged. The birds clashed with the wings of the Narghuls, as if light itself fought darkness.

A young leader, Arathon, split a Narghul in half with a flap of his wings, while General Serena brought down an entire squad with the blades of her golden feathers. The Narghuls tried to resist, but they fell quickly before the two young leaders.

Meanwhile, the bird soldiers found themselves in an equal struggle. The Narghuls' claws were savage, and their bites left deep marks, but the birds countered with their talons and wings. For every fallen bird, a Narghul fell. The sky became a vortex of feathers mixed with blood and torn limbs.

From the Narghuls' ranks surged their leader, Ordough, his eyes blazing with anger as he watched his soldiers slaughtered by the two young leaders. He shouted a voice that shook the heavens:

"You winged lice! I will tear your wings feather by feather!"

General Arathon replied:

"Stay where you are… I am coming to cut your neck. The sky is ours, and it will remain ours, demon!"

On the ground, Oungan laughed as he tore through the demon ranks, then shouted:

"Look! Even in the sky, you are crushed by a flock of chickens!"

Morlock roared with overwhelming anger:

"You will all be silent soon… and I will make the sky bleed until the last feather falls!"

Meanwhile, Hades advanced swiftly alongside Fenikeros as if racing toward Asmodeus, their eyes fixed solely on him, as if the entire battle were merely a path to reach him.

Hades:

"He is mine!!!!"

Fenikeros:

"Don't rush, my friend… with his power we must fight together to defeat him."

As for Semifil, he had chosen his opponent from the beginning, advancing quickly, cutting down every demon in his path to reach Odin.

Semifil shouted in rage:

"Odin, you bastard, I will kill you!!!!!"

Odin, mockingly:

"You will never reach me!!!!"

Queen Alythia watched the two young leaders with calm eyes from the ground, a smile on her face as she dispatched every approaching enemy with her wings, without even glancing at them.

She said proudly as she observed their movements:

"These two boys… are doing well."

Not far from her, the third leader, Ganisha, faced swarms of Yeti. His fists shattered their skulls one by one as if they were nothing.

A mocking smile appeared on his face as he muttered to himself:

"I want a worthy opponent… these ice gorillas aren't even good as appetizers."

On the other side, the pair representing the power of the absolute queen—her right arm, Valkoris, and her left arm, Dragmor—engaged a formidable foe.

It was Ashura of Envy, the embodiment of envy and madness, spreading his arms as he shouted like a madman:

"Why are you talented?! Why do you possess such beauty?! I will not forgive you… curse you both!"

Dragmor, the left arm, mocked him:

"What nonsense are you speaking?! Is your head broken, or are you just insane?!"

He lunged at him with a tremendous kick to the stomach, sending him into the air. As he rose, Valkoris, the right arm, struck him with her wings, slamming him into the ground, shaking the battlefield with a deafening explosion as his body was crushed under the debris.

But Ashura, leaning on the ground, raved madly:

"Why… why… why do you have everything… while I have nothing… curse you!"

Then he suddenly rose, his eyes blazing with madness, before unleashing an attack of flames in the shape of a gigantic demonic skull toward Dragmor.

Valkoris screamed in terror as Dragmor rushed toward him:

"Draaaagmooor!!!"
